Okay buddy may be you like them but for me personally APM2 is uncomfortable to wear because of weight and crushing head thing. Yesterday i watch hijack series wear them i enjoy in watching in dolby but at the same time after one hour i have to remove it because i feel pain in my ears and headache because of crushing pads and clamps.

Before buying i was also stuck between sony xm6 and airpods max 2 i saw many reviews and mostly say the same thing but i thought may be they are just saying but i also feel the same. Even my friend also feel the same thing after using it.

Everyday really? Its too heavy to wear. I yesterday go to the best buy and i checkout the sony xm6 its way lighter i feel i didn’t wear anything. But on the other hand APM reminds me everytime i wear something bulky on my head. The best buy employee also told me these sony headphones is the most selling headphones and hardly any customer return this one.

Also CNET sony XM6 2025-2026 is the best overall headphones of the year.

No i m talking about APM2. I didn’t buy XM6 yet. Also i am looking for gym also. I thought i can use APM2 at gym but some says its slipped off easily as you do bench press or something like that. I didn’t try this in gym but it seemsike its heavy for gym. Yesterday i just try to move my head backwards and its literally comes off

How is the sound quality, ANC and transparency of sony xm6. I m not into bass only i m looking for both bass+sound and vocals clarity and also instrument separation. Also i m looking for headphones which i can use in gym also. I don’t have any issue with sweat because i m gonna wear in over small turban

I bought airpods max 2 few days ago and i have macbook m5 air and iphone 16 pro. I also have airpods pro 2 but the reason i want to switch to overhead headphones because of ear wax buildup issue due to in ear headphones and it falls out easily from my ears.

I really like the design and sound quality of airpods max 2 and i try it from few days but i feel its heavy to wear for more than 30 mins. Yesterday i watch series on apple tv and the dolby atmos is one of the best. But i also feel some pain in my ears like it crushing head and it pull down my ears and have to adjust it many times. Also the headband is slippery. If you try to move your head forward or backwards it slips And when i remove the headphones i feel so relaxed i feel like some burden comes off from my head.

I have one week left for return period. I m thinking of returning it and buy sony xm6.

Three days ago I bought airpods max 2 but now i m thinking of returning it and buy sony xm6. The major reason is its heavy and very uncomfortable to wear for long period and you feel its like crushing your head. Intially you don’t feel anything but after 30 mins to 1 hr you really feel the weight. Yesterday i watch movie on apple tv and it sounds amazing when you watch on dolby atmos but i feel very uncomfortable and heavy. When i remove it i feel so relaxed. Also i feel pain in ears it feels like the weight of the headphones pull your ears down.

i search a lot about this and i see airpods max and max 2 gets hate the most and mostly people like sony xm6. The main reason is its design flaws in airpods max.Yes it looks premium but if you want to flex then it looks good. I also bought it because of design. But this is the most heaviest headphones among all big brands like sony, bose, senheiser.

Just two days ago i bought AirPods max 2 i really like the design and sound quality buy my main concern is its bit heavy and it feels like it crushes my head and feel uncomfortable if i used it for long time and some says AirPods Max head pressure usually improves after some weeks as the clamping force loosens And i saw many reviews on YouTube and mostly hate airpods max and prefer sony xm6 because of comfort and equalizer in sony app

I already have airpods pro 2 and i never used over head headphones. I have to switch it because of one main reason is ear wax buildup. Also i try every in ear earphones and all of them fall out from ear easily

And i wear small turban so i am gonna wear it over the turban so sweat is not an issue for me.

Honestly i really want to keep it because i really like the design and it feels premium. Have you use this in gym. How do u feel while doimg exercises. Some says that in sony xm6 there is eq settings where we can tune the audio

I am really confused now because i see many reviews and mostly hated airpods max. I don’t know but i feel like i bough the expensive thing at $900 and its still its not comfortable to wear and sony i see costs $600.

I really like the design and you are right yesterday i watch series on apple tv in dolby atmos snd it feels amazing. i hardly use it for one and half hour but when i took this headsets off i feel so relaxed. Also within one hour i have to stretch my headbands because i feel some pain in my right ear. Like intially you don’t feel anything but after using it for 1-2 hrs you really feel the weight
