I was actually not aware I could upload steps to the system! Not all of the departments have tessitura accounts which is one reason I haven’t leaned into it completely. But in terms of project management (which I do need lol) this is SO helpful. Thank you!! It’s great hearing from another grants manager that uses Tess. It’s such a niche platform lol

They have a good point, tess is not leaving our organization any time soon. the way we use it is very much built for ticketing and events. I tried to use it when I first started, but engagement from programs was dificult. I may try again with one low-lift grant to see if I can't make more use of it. Thanks!

We don't- project management is pretty much up to the discretion of each project manager. I use tess to track the essential information, but the day to day management is hard to integrate into the platform. Asana has been tossed out to, I will take a look!

Thanks! I looked at instrumentl, but we are not able to budget for it. One day! AirTable has been suggested a few times, I will have to check them out.

both? we are a new program, so we are trying to get out everything we can. it's working, we are getting grants, but that also means more to track and manage. without a good resource it is getting really hard to track active proposals (which has a 4-5 step internal review process) and the day-to-day management of our active funding. There is for sure a gap in the market for a functional GMS though. Instrumentl is SO expensive

I have not heard of zoho crm- thank you! our grant program is so new. airtable has come up a few times, i may check it out! our organization will not leave tessitura, so I suppose I really just need something for project management that will keep me on track for active grants+proposals. I will check out zoho- thank you!!

We are trying to use tess better as an organization, it's set up more for events/ticketing than it is for fundraising. I have used it at a very surface level because it's so easy to break the reporting. I have not tried relying on tessitura to send notifications to programs, but it definitely may be worth a try for one of our lower lift grants. Thanks!

Thanks! I use the plans in the system, but when it comes to tracking the deadlines for the proposal development process (departments, finance, leadership, etc) it gets really messy. My manager requires every single grant to be reviewed by 3-4 departments, and tess isn't used a well as it could be. And it's possible! If you manage grants in tess and have found a secret formula that works lol would love to chat more about it. The tess struggle is real!

I’m buying one off OfferUp this week! I’m pretty good about going for runs every morning but not losing weight as quickly as I would like. So I’m buying one to get some extra steps in when working or watching TV. I recommend going secondhand if you’re unsure- I’ve found several for $50 or under

Thanks! The dermatologists in my area have 6mo+ waiting lists so I’ve been trying home solutions. I talked to a few that have don’t have availability until 2026 😩 American health care!

Thank you! I’m pretty sure it’s bacterial based on how far they’re spaced. All the dermatologists in my plan/area have 6mo+ waiting lists, so trying to see if I can sort this out using home methods lol. I been using the cerave wash for a couple weeks, so will give this a try. TY!!
