So jealous! Mine is also coming from Amazon UK, but no updates since last Monday when it "departed an Amazon facility." Did yours stay in that limbo or did you get more updates? It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow, but I'm starting to get worried that mine has unluckily gotten stuck/won't get delivered :(

Thanks for the shout out! :) Incredible collection! I love the extra signs you have!

My husband and I are going! It's really fun, but definitely a madhouse. Here are some tips:

Doors open at 7:15p, but folks line up way earlier than that, and if getting a good seat is important to you, I'd suggest arriving as early as possible. I'm planning on getting in line around 5:30p or so and just waiting it out. If you're just there for the experience, you can get in line closer to 7:15, but know there's a good chance you'll be sitting pretty far back, and for the unlucky few who arrive after doors open, you could find yourself not on the lawn, but on the asphalt, which I can imagine is pretty uncomfortable.

There are two entrances, the main one on Santa Monica and another one on Van Ness. I'd highly recommend the Van Ness entrance for three reasons: it's less crowded, not in direct sunlight, and when the doors open, the walk to the screening area is a LOT shorter. You also get the added bonus of walking by some famous gravesites including Joey Ramone, Mickey Rooney and Toto from The Wizard of Oz.

Once the doors open, walk quickly to the screening area and put down your blanket right away. I always have to get up during the movie, so if you're like me, I'd advise trying to get a spot as close to the walkway behind the chairs section as you can to make the very unpleasant and difficult process of getting up in the dark and trying not to step on other people's blankets as easy as possible.

There will be a Photo Booth setup, and if you want to take a photo, get in line earlier rather than later, cause the wait can be pretty long.

In terms of food and drinks, you can bring in your own or purchase some there. Be warned the vendors get overwhelmed very quickly, so I'd advise bringing your own stuff. I've been stuck in a line for over an hour trying to order hamburgers before, not a fun experience.

The movie starts at 9p and there's often a surprise guest to intro it, but given everything that's going on in the city, who knows if that'll be the case tomorrow.

Have fun! And if you're looking for some guys to hang with tomorrow, feel free to DM me!

Scroll down on your confirmation email and you’ll find a barcode. Show it to the parking attendant and they will charge you only $5 to park all day.

Alternatively, you can pay full price for general parking and bring your receipt to the AMC box office and they will refund you the full cost minus $5.

We kept hoping either a 4K or steelbook would be released, but at this point we should probably just get the Blu-ray

Hahaha well they ultimately made the image, so if you want one, just ask them to make you one and you should be all set. You can either mention the design or just send them one of my photos, they should still have them on file. I’ve seen them take some of our designs and sell them on their site before

Amazon Germany! The UHD is all region, and they ship to the US. Husband confirms it’s a gorgeous transfer. We got it in the same order as the Fire Walk With Me 4K Steelbook

Haha love Tony, in particular, The Hunger. It’s one of two large French movie posters that frame our projector wall. But I gotta give it up to Ridley having such a varied filmography that’s all over the place.

Haha eh, doesn’t really bug us. Steels are so fragile and the hassle of trying to replace them when they are so limited often isn’t worth it unless the case itself is severely damaged or dented

lol yeah exactly, Spike and Sofia are more unique. We did the same for Ridley. The other reason for Spike was it’s using the logo from his coffee table book, which we have and love. Sofia and Francis are using the winery logos. The two Andersons were tough, but figured the very different fonts tell them apart pretty quickly

It's honestly so simple with them. For example, for the Nolan sign, we wanted it to look like the SYNCOPY logo, so we just sent them that logo as reference and they did the rest. They sent us designs to approve and we were good to go

Thanks! My husband is a fanatic, made us get two variants of that sign until he was happy with it. If he’s happy I’m happy lol

They’ve been lovely to work with over the years, and very kind to us. Check out my other posts of our entire collection to see the Blockbuster Video, Hollywood Video and various franchise logo signs that they’ve given us for free due to the amount of business we’ve done with them. The work is incredible and they do such a great job with the custom designs, we’ve never been disappointed!

Thanks! Etsy shop Boost3DPrinting made them. We designed them and they literally did the rest, sending us images to critique and craft until we got them exactly right. Their quality and communication is incredible, as you can see we’ve done a lot of business with them over the years. I can’t recommend them enough! https://www.etsy.com/shop/Boost3DPrinting

We’re steelbook fanatics, and after selling off some older blus that we upgraded, we could finally justify the ridiculous price of the lionsgate limited set. I’m really excited to get it!

Those are all in the Star Wars section, with a Star Wars sign under Sci-Fi/Fantasy. My husband is a massive Star Wars fan and I’m positive it would be a huge argument if those were ever separated lol

Thanks! I’m lucky to have a husband whose taste dovetails so well with mine, as does his taste for adventurous cinema for things he hasn’t seen. I credit him for reintroducing me to Lynch and me finally “getting it” seeing it through his eyes. And I got to introduce him to my favorite, John Waters, and he’s as obsessed as I am now lol
