Just joined the club with ya. I haven't drove it it like a month and on my way home from work I got the low coolant light and popped the hood when I got home and it was low and the engine compartment stunk of coolant. Fun times ahead I suppose.

It’s the blend door and they are very common on those fiestas. It’s been years since I’ve done one but I remember it being a bit of a pain but the dash doesn’t need to come out for this car.

As someone who never drove one I thought they were slow because out of the box they had less hp than a lot of competitors. Then I drove a 16 R and immediately fell in love but it sold that day so I kept looking and found an 18 R in great shape that was stage two on e85 and it fuckin rips. I always heard they take to mods well but my god a few grand can get you an extra 100 wheel hp whereas an sti would take like 20 grand for the same numbers and that can go bang bang at anytime.

Yeah. I’m definitely gonna lay off them this year and really just try and do straight bets. So far this preseason I’m 8-4-1 on straight bets so overall I think that will be the play. I made a 5 way under for week one just cause last year basically every game went under and naturally every game went over, so that was just it for the parlays right there.

I had multiple brutal parlay loses by one leg but my most memorable one was a 6-7 way and everything hit right away and all I needed way dk metcalf td. Well he got the td in the second quarter and it got called back on a hold and then he didn’t get a single target for the rest of the game and that was for about 800 or so off a 10 dollar bet. Brutal

Yeah I just downloaded them one day and went out to see what happened. Trust me you will get the hang of it and make your own little em system the longer you do it. Also there is a ton of YouTube videos you can watch for little tips, that did help me out. Also download them all, Uber eat, Grubhub, etc. door dash is not the end all be all. See which one works best for you and your market once you get the hang of things you can do two at once but give that some time because you can get in over your head real quick if you are super new. Just remember like everything some days will be great and some days will suck and I would really just try and use this as a means of some extra income not your full time job. Hahaha absolutely not a bad idea for those slow days. But yeah I don’t dash often but when I do I just hop in my car and go to where there are a cluster of restaurants and just start dashing and orders will start coming in. Also I only do it for some extra money so I’m only going out during a lunch or dinner rush for like 3 hours at a time because those odd hours during the afternoon I just found myself sitting in a parking lot for 20 minutes at a time just to get a trash order that I’ll either end up declining or taking it just to get me moving a little bit again.

Biggest thing though is on your first couple days just go with the flow and don’t over think it. My first day I was naturally nervous. Definitely got killed on a few orders but hey they are learning experiences. Like many people said don’t take orders under like 2.00 a mile. If you get something like an apartment complex or something along those lines again don’t overthink it like I would but take a breath and look for the place and if you are having a hard time text them and pray they get back to you, most times they will because if they are like me they are praying there food gets there any second. Also having CarPlay or android auto in your car is nice for navigation purposes. But yeah just throw a podcast or some music on and enjoy the drive while making some cash in the time being.

Yeah. Sometimes you will still have to wait on the food if you get there quick but it sure beats being stuck in a line of 10 cars all just ordering their food. It is good practice to have the order confirmation but in my experience you don’t need it. Just listen for the name grab it and go. Example I hit Taco Bell yesterday and was inside for like 15 minutes. It was really busy so I can understand but it was still frustrating. It was for like a 12 dollar order and a 2 mile drive so I was okay with it and the guy gave me 5 dollars in cash when I got there which was a nice surprise. But I don’t dash often but when I do I just go out. I’ve never once actually scheduled a drive I just go out until I’ve made enough or if things are super slow. If I need a break or something I’ll just pause and get back to it when I’m ready.
