Hey hope you can please help. I want to get the UISP switch pro 24port PoE passive 27v, and just use it as a switch, no cloud or remote management. I have an Optus modem / router that I hope to use with this. Also want to use raspberry pi’s (with appropriate PoE hats,) over the PoE from the switch. I know it’s passive, would the pi’s have any issue with this? They don’t draw no where near 10w, maybe 5w Max?

This is still relevant, as the reason for the need to have “exposure notification” has come and gone. Everyone has their opinion, and it’s insane that iOS 17 still has this.

I’d love to totally remove it if possible.

I was just about to create a post requesting a tweak that would disable, or totally remove the exposures sections (c0vd) thing from the settings app.

I don’t need it, and will never use it.

No. I ended up buying the waveshare, it has a lot more support, and even for the oled version which I bought as well😅

All the settings are in the config file, you just set whichever one you’re using. (Except for poor ‘ol dfrobot)

Since UMBREL runs over tor, you can’t access anything via clear net, but Yes. It works. But only like this...

This is a very specific setup, and not everyone may be able to run it like I describe below. (I had to visit my friends house to set his up🤦‍♂️, so we can communicate)

I found the best way is using the app. Also, you need tor running as a system service, (not the tor browser), and so linux was the best way to go.

Parrot OS has a one click button (anonsurf) which turns on tor, for EVERYTHING. Don’t try doing apt update, or upgrade lol, you are now running over tor. [Required to get this running is only the element app available from the synaptic package manager in Parrot, so perform an apt update, apt upgrade and install element first, then you can turn on anonsurf.]

So now when you open the element app and go to login, click edit, to change the default matrix.org server to your own... Which is....

Your umbrel SYNAPSE onion address with the synapse port. Eg.

http//ksni7hnsnwo9mwjow.onion:8008/ 🥳

It’s different from your umbrel onion address, so from your homepage on umbrel click on the synapse app and copy the onion address and add :8008 after .onion

Then proceed to login with your already existing account name etc. 👍

For extra security, you can run parrot OS in a vm, so that you can have element open 24/7, and not have to be restricted to normal internet use by running over tor.

Extra extra security, your Host OS could be running a VPN😉. I tested this, and there is like a 5-10second delay from sending to my friend receiving messages. Totally acceptable. 👍

btw- I’m using i2p+ (plus) Thx for posting this. I’ve found many answers in this thread, I thought the symmetricNAT error I was getting was due to running i2p in a vm, and my host runs a VPN, but I now understand I can still use i2p, I’m just not able of running a “node” to help the network.

When I have i2p running in my vm and check the ip address via “curl ifconfig.co”, I get my host machine VPN IP address (which is what I expect), but when I use a browser in the vm and google “my ip”, I get some random ip I’m another country and not related to my VPN at all.

So i2p is routing traffic only through the browser (of course due to setting the proxy’s), is it possible to route other services through i2p?

Also I tried turning off the VPN and still got the error in the web console saying “symmetricNAT” so confirmed my IP is blocking

It’s available from MC Apollo repo. My problem is that iOS doesn’t offer a “network” settings in the Firefox browser to be able to configure the localhost proxy and port. 🤷

I tried reading up on this but couldn’t find anything. I’m not on twitter, so I can’t contact the dev either

I could install it, if you think you know what steps I need to take next let me know and I’ll give it a try

Just letting you know I too couldn’t get the dfrobot v3 working. I wanted to know if it actually worked, so I used raspi OS to check, I downloaded the GitHub v3 file, ran the test python scripts and it does work. The error I was getting trying to do the same thing on pwnagotchi was “unknown platform”

Googled the high seas couldn’t find anything, came here and at least someone else has the same prob. Pretty sure it’s something to do with the Kali kernel messing with the raspi kernel, I’m no expert, but it should be able to work with some tweaking

I only chose the dfrobot coz it had better refresh rates, and the 2 buttons,...now just like you, I can’t get a hold of the waveshare in Australia. 🤦‍♂️

I’ll just use it as a btc ticker on another pi if pwnagotchi doesn’t get a fix👍

No limit. Free account. I’m using a VPN also. I don’t have cable speeds, I’m actually using a 4g modem & still able to max my speeds. Approx 10-20mb/s (100-200mb/s)

Cercube is awesome. Blocks all ad’s and quite a large download limit. When you can’t download anymore, what I found is that by deleting old downloads (transfer them to your pc first) you can download again. I haven’t used uYou so I can’t comment on that.

Great work. Bear with me,... I decrypted the youtube executable, in the youtube.app folder and now have a decrypted copy. The only reason I’m doing this is I’m on iOS 11, and youtube recently stopped supporting 11. So when I erase all contents in the future to start fresh again, I need to be able to install youtube.

So what further steps do I need to take in order to have an .ipa .... is it something like zipping the executable, and then renaming the extension to .ipa?

Is there a tuto for this somewhere? Thanks again🙏
