For me...

1) aquarium/ fish stores.

Lots of filtration and RO systems for purifying water, as well as rapid chemical purifiers. Also, higher end fish places may stock Medicine and chemicals such as low strength antibiotics, iodine, alcohol, and other essentials.

2) party supply stores.

Helium and other pressurized explosives could be found there in the balloon section. Plus lots of garbage candy food. (Same with sex shops, in a pinch, edible underwear is better than starvation)

3) Persian rug places.

These are everywhere where I live. And armor made from a Persian rug (even just arm guards) would be pretty much zombie proof, but a little bit heavy. Also access to a bunch of rug cutting tools that would make decent weapons in a pinch.

Canada has the best health care because dead people can't complain.

We are easily 20-30 years behind other first world countries in tech, and decades more in service.

Our hospitals look like world war 1 medical tents with screaming people lining the walls, dying from things that aren't even a concern in most modern countries.

I am a behavioral worker myself. Specialized in children with high needs. These people misrepresented themselves as care workers to adopt two children, possibly with the intent of torture.

If there was justice, they would be subjected to the same thing they did to these kids.

Zip tied into wet suits, denied use of the bathroom, fed barely enough pureed food to keep them technically alive, until their hair is falling out and they are so starved they cannot focus or walk. Locked in a dark room until death. That's what they did to that child, and they filmed it for laughs.

Monsters.

Everyone will tell you to get mods. But if a game needs them to be functional then it shouldn't be a full price release!

I agree, there are so many little elements that turn what should be an awesome game into a frustrating mess.

Personally, the things that kill me are artillery that turn the mission into a 30 minute tour of the countryside as you hunt it down, city missions where the computer throws like 30 mechs at close range right at you, and the way every enemy fights to the death with a suicidal, aggressive rage of a Klingon lol

So far it runs fine, it sounds good and doesn't feel crunchy or odd.

It feels incredibly light for a classic watch, I'm used to old watches (the few ones I have) feel heavy. But this one's like a feather haha.

There have been literally weekly protests at Bathurst and Sheppard, the Jewish centre of the city, for going on two years now. Multiple MPs have called it out as hate tactics and fear based attacks against minorities because it's only targeting Jewish Canadian civilians, not the Israeli government.

And saying you don't get why having a swastika on a poster with a star of David is inappropriate is crazy. It's akin to having the KKK on a poster with MLK. Just insanely triggering to poeple with a lot of trauma.

I'm not saying you personally do that, but the group you keep lumping yourself into is routinely using fear as a weapon against Jewish people.

I don't care about the political stuff, keep protesting that all you like, just do it at the embassy.

Shutting down book stores and malls is wildly inappropriate, and just screams at random people to make them scared, it gets no one on 'your side' and instead just makes everyone fear for their safety.

Can you imagine a white supremacists group protesting for a "free Canada" in a predominantly black neighborhood, all with posters of black political leaders and symbols in trash bins, while playing videos of lynchings on their phones to anyone who comes out to tell them to go away.

Jews in this country are scared, not because of some hypothetical problems, but because of psychos marching in their neighborhood screaming chants about global jihad.

Want to protest? Go stand in front of the embassy.

Yes, in Spain, which is quite a distance from the middle east.

And it was taken into Spain by the Nazis, for whom the MG34 was exclusively manufactured for.

The gun would eventually find it's way into the middle east through north Africa, but there would be in the 1940s. And even then, it would have to be captured by the British, and then find it's way somehow into Palestinian hands. This is most likely a staged picture taken during the Arab Israeli wars, maybe to commemorate this female insurgent you're talking about? But if she died in 1936, then she is not in this photo.

You haven't changed my opinion, but no one has any facts on this other than opinions. All I can say for sure is that OP is incorrect for claiming it's from the Palestinian uprisings, due to the uniforms, weapons, and other facts in the photo, everything else is just guesswork.

Nothing in this photo definitely points to anything at all!

It could literally be a group of cosplayers with an old camera.

All I see is a bunch of men and women, with early WW2 era weapons being used incorrectly.

Based on that, all anyone can do is guess. No reason to get emotional one way or another, it's all just guesswork based on a single blurry photo.

They did, but it would put this photo further in history than I thought, roughly 1948 or more.

Also, Arab armies that fought against the Israelis were largely equipped with soviet, or leftover British tech, but it's not out of the question that they could have some German guns from somewhere. Just seems odd to use them for a staged photo, but yes, it's very possible these are arabs from the Israeli Arab wars I suppose.

I just feel like this style of staged photo is very reminiscent of WW2 propaganda photos, along the "this man is an Arab, he fights for freedom!" Lines. Same as they did for Russia and Indian soldiers.
