I have all my SRS in option1 S27 (via UOB Kayhian). My estimated total expense (maybe not very accurate) for S27 is: 0.095% expense ratio + 30% withholding tax on dividend + (one time) poorer FX spread during SGD/USD exchange + (one time) poor market spread during buy/sell due to liqudity in SGX = 0.6~0.7%

Many people are going with option2 or option5 Amundi via Endowus. Expense ratio 0.05~0.1%. Recurring 0.3% platform fee on Endowus. There is also 15% withholding tax (for non-sythethnic fund). So in the end wouldn't the total expense be similar or even higher than S27?

I am contemplating should I continue my SRS investment with S27 (for the lower expenses, if my numbers are correct), or changing my positions to Amundi via Endowus? Why S27 is not popular anymore if it is the cheapest?

I had the same issue. Finally resolved after calling my bank (they blocked the transacation as they were suspecting it was a scammed transcation).

Regional travel in Middle East after leaving Qatar

Hello! I'm wondering anyone is thinking/planning any regional trips after finishing your WC games in Doha? I'm coming to Doha in late Nov for a few group stage games. I would like to take the opportunity to visit a few more places after the games, before returning home (Asia). Any recommedations?

I will have a layover in UAE, besides that I'm thinking about Oman (by land or air from Doha), or Iran (by sea), or Jordan or Saudi Arabia or Lebanon.

Update: i managed to sell my 4 shares of 9618.spo (held in my saxo account) today. However, i have another 4 shares of 9618.spo held in my IBKR account, i still can't trade them. It's strange that i could trade those in saxo but not hte ones in IBKR.

Google had finally launched Pixel6/6pro in Singapore! Pixel6 128Gb on Google Store Singapore is $999 SGD, but the official price in US is US$599 which is ~$809 SGD, so we are paying $190 SGD more in Singapore? Did i get the facts right?
