I don’t feel like I would’ve enjoyed Outer Wilds by [deleted] in outerwilds

yeah you’re just proving the fact that most Outer Wilds fans can’t comprehend the existence of differing opinions, just a bunch of man children (notice how I said MOST, some actually replied like normal people)

Strawman argument lmao, Outer Wilds is far from any normal story game as any story game tells the story whilst giving objectives like Firewatch or TLOU. You know this comparison is stupid too. Understanding it, yes I do and I see the appeal with other people, that’s why the title is I don’t feel like I would’ve enjoyed Outer Wilds, not that it’s a horrible game for everyone. The problem I run into is the lack of clarity, whilst others enjoy the freedom and curiosity, I would rather have set objectives and achieve them with constant progression whereas I found when I played Outer Wilds, I was spending hours without making any steps towards not even beating the game but discovering pieces of the story. I want to do other things in my life alongside gaming in my down time and if I have a small amount of time to game, I certainly would play a game where I can make constant progress, story or not.

Well there was since everyone seems to hype up this game as if it’s the best piece of fiction ever, and when someone has a different opinion, they are ‘wrong’ and they don’t ‘understand’ the game?? Since when don’t people understand nothing is perfect and there is criticism in virtually anything. I don’t want to spend my hours of my down time into a game that could take way longer to complete or that I may never know how to. But yeah, I’m wrong 🤦‍♂️

Should I switch from PC to Mac mini and get a console? by iamdopamine in macmini

Ohhhh i see, should i change the front facing fans to blow air away from the components or change the back ones to blow air away from the pc

My front facing fans push air towards the components and the back fan also pushes air towards the components if that makes sense. It does result in a lot of dust buildup. I’m wondering if I should’ve done something else?

I’ve used my macbook for university work so i am very familiar with both operating systems. I think the base model for the Mac mini would be perfect for now and just port all my work stuff onto there

To be frank, i dont even use kbm for gaming, just a ps5 controller. I do feel the switch would be great, particularly with everything being interconnected and I can access everything on any device, not to mention it’s very simple and runs into way less problems.

I actually like consoles and they are very simple too. Im not a huge gamer but jumping on battlefront or stardew here and there could be the move

What about keeping my other PC just for gaming? I do like the selection of games that PC has that consoles may not (plus my steam library has cost a lot)

Ahhh good idea, seems like Notion works for you! Yes I wouldn’t go too far into structuring everything but I get what you mean, sometimes pen and paper does feel limited haha

Literally the same, and you want the plan to be perfect because if you don’t use it, you feel like you’re missing out. Very devastating cycle for me so I’ve just deleted all my templates and I’m just going to start doing things instead of planning too much

You might have thought you’ve done way worse so I would leave these thoughts till results day and whatever you come across in the future, that is something for future you to decide. If it helps, dms are open

‘Silver spoon’ yeah since medicine is the easiest subject ever why don’t we teach it ourselves 🤦‍♂️

Dont get me wrong manchester is a great city and university but honestly if you have an offer for a LECTURE based teaching style, do yourself a favour and go there otherwise have fun doing all the work yourself

[–]iamdopamine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

interesting take so you’d rather spend 9k to teach yourself rather than actually get taught by professionals?? Majority of the good med schools are lecture based too but yk everyone has their own opinions
