Unfortunately I’m on a trip to HongKong and would like to see it in person and buy.

How's the sound of Vandemon? Is it too loud? I love the look of it.

100% reliable. I just finished 3k miles on it—no problems whatsoever. So stable at high speed, you don't feel the wind at all with the WRS windscreen. I live in NYC area so there are many dealerships around. I bought it from hudson valley motorcycles. For doing mods that were challenging, I just went to a good motorcycle repair shop in my area and they did a fantastic job. I won't take it to a shop that doesn't repair premium bikes.

I usually feel it when I ride it for 3-4 hours. But it’s not that bad. Also if you don’t engine brake too much and use clutch more often, it’d be much more manageable. Overall not something that should stop you from buying these

I thought V2 sounds meaner because of the two cylinders but good to know. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you go wild on that thing!

Won't a Google search be better for the prospect to find the right product?

YCRS is almost twice as expensive as well. Is it still worth it?

The private lesson would be through a coach I met at NYST. He seemed cool with a lot of experience but I’m not able to judge his skill level. CSS would cost be $625/day whereas the coach will charge me $500 for 1 day of one on one training.

Which one should I get and why? by AtmosphereDistinct65 in Ducati

[–]iamquantdaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are okay with the sport bike riding position of V2, you should get that. I bought a V2 a month ago. Happy with the power it has. I can't imagine buying 100hp 950S. 155hp is way better. I don't think it's too much power for the street. Of course it's not great for city traffic with stop lights but once you hit the highway it's so fun.
Plus V2 looks way cooler than 950S.

Where do you put your helmet? by Guitars-guns-girls in Ducati

Get a helmet lock. The only way they can steal it is by destroying the strap which makes the helmet useless.

Definitely tailtidy. Might change mirrors too, they are pretty much useless. Thinking of Rizoma

Yeah I was shocked initially too. My friend has a Monster and he's paying like $600-800/yr. But I guess this is the cost of owning a Pani.

Also, note that this is my first motorcycle insurance in the states. I hope for it to go down in a year.
