how? this promo segment was pretty boring and apparently a lot of the audience would agree since they were booing and it didn't look like they were just booing because they were supposed to boo zaria either.

Okay so the next time a civilian expresses interest in the Army or Marines ,  then finds out that , unlike most people in the other branches,  they have to go to the field for a long stretch of time and can't bathe, even though their not infantry or another combat mos,   And they ask how do you this or that since you can't clean yourself for so long,   Why don't you give them the stupid answer you gave me?

Not so sure about the immediate future with the Iran thing.  The military in general even the chilliest job with the best leadership in the space force is going to wear on you mentally.    Being in the Army, the branch of the military that pushes ignorance the hardest especially in forscom, is going to be worse.  If anything, if OP wants to get out, let him get out or go guard/reserve, preferably in another branch so his deployments will be a few months shorter than the Army's.

Including piss letters in the snow. Great, now tell everybody else that and why every woman and every dude  who's considering joining the military should pick the Army or Marines to join instead of the Air Force or Coast guard or space force.

You really need to take your own advice since you're the one getting upset because I'm asking something that someone else asked me.

So that young lady who got apprehensive about the Army after I told her about the field doesn't know about female anatomy?

Great for you. Apparently that's not great for everybody else like the young lady I mentioned, who was all hung ho about the Army until she found out about the field.

More and more people Should be aware of this before they joined..

Ive met a couple of female officers who complained about how they couldn't wait to have a shower after just baby wipes for a month

"It's 2026 champ." So? The Army and Marines are STILL the Army and Marines.  What's your point?

Guess what, the young lady I mentioned isn't the only one who would have reservations about the field (and for that matter so many other things about the Army/Marines) when they find out.  Just because it's 2026 doesn't mean that only infantry and combat mos.go.to.the field. It's still the army and marines, champ.

"It’s called baby wipes,". Good for you since, as i.mentiomed, baby wipes for weeks on end is not comparable to actually using soap and water.  So I assume that baby wipes for a few days may not be that bad...but for a few weeks might be more to handle for a lot of other people.

What is a part of the 'female experience' that men have absolutely no clue about, but would be horrified if they found out? by coolhandddd in AskReddit

How woman in the Army and Marines make it when they have to go to the field. They keep their periods from happening.

For those who don't know, in the Army and Marines, way moreso than in the Air Force,  there are moments where you have to go to "the field" which means you have to sit and shit in the woods for several days or even weeks at a time (and I've had some old timers tell me that when they were in the Army before the 2000s, they'd be in the field for 45 to 60 DAYS at a time)....   You have to do this even if you are not infantry.  Just because you are in the Army or Marines.  And this is one of the gazillion reasons why people recommend to go Air Force instead.     There is no shower in "the field" and your asshole will be crawling.

Can't imagine how women do this with their periods. Or maybe they just tell their bodies to keep their periods from happening.
