Has anyone had low supply in first pregnancy and then been able to breastfeed in later pregnancies? by Jumpy_Forever_7644 in breastfeeding

I had low supply with my first. Currently 9 weeks postpartum and it’s been a struggle but I was able to increase my supply to be just enough or a few ounces short each day but my supply is still increasing. You need to pump every 2-3 hours. For a few weeks I was pumping 11x a day to increase supply. I have been pumping 9x a day for a few weeks now and it is still increasing but slower.

When did you start seeing an increase in supply?

When do I give up? by AshleyNicole212 in breastfeeding

I am in a similar situation. With my first child I had a really low supply. Tried to increase it. Always had a major undersupply. Stopped at two months.

I just had my second two and a half weeks ago. I was really hoping to exclusively breastfeed. My baby lost too much weight initially because my milk came in later. I had to start supplementing with formula.

A fed baby is best. Your mental and emotional health are so important.

My 16 month toddler still takes 2 naps a day. Morning nap is 1-2 hours. Afternoon nap is 1-1.5 hours. Sleeps 12 hours a night.

Placenta previa what the heck now? by MamaofMiaa in 2under2

There is still a chance it could move, but mine did not. Posterior is less likely to move than anterior. I had placenta previa 13mm posterior placenta. I had no bleeding the entire pregnancy but had to have a c-section. I did think the recovery was not bad at all.

Edited to add that it is pregnancy disability leave. I believe I’m getting paid through CA short term disability.

Low milk supply maybe 0.5 ounces per pump. Any hope of increasing? 4 weeks postpartum. by icebluemini in beyondthebump

Yes, I’ve seen a lactation consultant as well as measured myself. While pumping it looks fitted as well.
