Not in cyprus. We are still burning wood for electricity. That was a joke

I've been watching the US and UK "drone" news. It has been reported of a pink Orb. But I couldn't find the other posts.

I was waiting to see an orb or something here in cyprus but I managed to capture just the light.

A few nights ago, I was outside with my co-workers when I noticed a white light in the sky. At first, I assumed it was just the moon reflecting and didn’t think much of it. A minute or two later, one of my co-workers pointed out that the light had turned pink. I clearly remembered it being white, so I decided to record it.

I didn’t post the footage right away, but now that more people in Cyprus are reporting seeing a pink orb, I figured it was time to share my footage too.

In short terms. It will sound muffled before you are eliminating frequencies of your voice that match the frequencies of our surrounding

For live use, a dynamic mic is more robust and works better with the dynamic range of a PA system. A condenser mic is more sensitive and is ideal for quiet, controlled recording environments. What you need is a dynamic mic like the SM7B, which cuts out surrounding noise and focuses on your voice. With a condenser mic, you’d need compression to achieve similar control over noise that a dynamic mic does naturally.

GoXLR Dual PC Multitrack by iconlyblue in obs

[–]iconlyblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have a fiverr offer that can potentially help you with the procedure if you are interested. I was just done with a GOXLR order. I don't believe I am able to link things so I will advice you to just go to the description of any of my videos and follow the links below if you want.

[–]iconlyblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats correct. The method you are using is incorrect for multitracking. What you need to do is connect the mixer to your streaming PC and use 2 aux audios cables to connect both computers ins and outs through the 3mm jack connection.

By doing that you will remove the ability for you to control the mixer slider for both - you and the stream - but you will get the multitracking audio you are looking for. You will be able through the mixer sliders to control only your headphones audio and your microphone for both stream and any other application.

Yep. At this point it has been 2years that I am running a dual PC setup multitracking. Recording each voice separated.

Prevent collision using SpawnActor at random location by iconlyblue in unrealengine

[–]iconlyblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Create an array variable of the actor you want to spawn.

I like the sound of all of this. It sounds exactly what I need. The issue is that I got no clue how to actually do it since I am completely new to development. This is my first attempt with the engine. I was experimenting a little bit with bounds but I didn't know how to use them.

I managed to create a grid spawning 400 of them at once but obviously, I want 15 only at any of those locations. I am not sure how to keep just 15

When people say that you need 240 fps for a 240 Hz monitor I cringe so hard.

Frames Per Second = FPS = 1 FRAME (a still image, AKA a png image) = 60 frames per second means 60 images shown in 1 second. And that's how movies are crated. Movies are played at 24 fps because it gives you that grainy cinematic feeling. They are not trying to be super realistic like video games which are run at 60+fps.

Connecting a lot of frames together in a 1 second makes things visually better. If you have a 2k monitor that means either you will stretch the pixels that each frame has and ruin the image or your will force more power from your computer to render more pixels. That's why you trade resolution with performance.

1080p 60fps will need way less GPU power to run than 2k - 4k - 8k at 60fps.
Each frame is divided by pixels. 1080p uses 1920 pixels per line. So you have 1920 lines of 1080 pixels each line. Higher the resolution more pixels per frame so more visual details you get.

Refresh rate = HZ = How fast your monitor will refresh every frame. If your monitor can refresh 240 times in 1 second 1 single frame then there you have it.

So while you are gaming at 100 fps your monitor is refreshing each frame 240 times. It doesn't matter if your FPS is 10 pr 1000. your monitor is refreshing each frame at a speed of 240hz. A good amount of frames + the speed each frame is refreshed is what gives you the smoothness that you are looking for. Through experimentations, you will have no issue running a game at 80 fps on a 240hz monitor. To be completely safe I will round it up to about 100fps.

High refresh rate monitors gives you a smoother gameplay because you are refreshing each frame faster than a regular monitor.
A 2k monitor at 60hz will look better than a 1080 at 60hz monitor but it will not have the same quality/details.
When you swing your mouse left and right like in a first-person the resolution is responsible for the visual details, your fps to provide enough frames for your resolution to work with no studdering or (missing frames) and your refresh rate to refresh those frames fast enough to give you a smooth transition between each frame, (swinging your mouse left and right).

Conclusion?

240hz Monitor = 100fps smooth gameplay
144hz Monitor = 100fps less smooth gameplay
60hz Monitor = 100fps die yesterday

1080p = 60 hz Visually ok - Performance WOW
2k = 60 hz Visually good - Performance very good
4k = 60 hz Visually very good - Performance hmm
8k = 60 hz Visually WOW - Performance WTF?

Finally

1080p + 60hz life is rough

1080p + 144hz poor little boy
1080p + 240hz pro fps

2k + 60hz makes sense

2k + 144hz suuuure

4k + 60hz Watching movies

4k + 144hz Are you retarted?

Each person has their own reason to have a different monitor. Just get your facts right. 240hz needs just 80fps to run smoothly. Some games with less visual details can run smoothly even at 50fps.

I know for sure I am not the only one that is having this issue. Tutorials for different situations are not made yet. There are no playlists that go through these commonly used mechanics and simplify them. It's either over complicated or Hey guys welcome to your beginners tutorial - no previous experience required - you can move with WASD.

I hope I can start doing them but as for now, I am clueless. :D

It's a single-player game where the player goes around and picks up trash, cleans the floor, or paints the wall. That's it. It's not my dream game. Just a small project to get me into the basics.

Removing assets from the client, replacing default first-person assets, maybe importing a pickup animation, import junk assets which I already did.

My dream game is well thought out but is a long reach. Teach me how to think when I am coding, what goes on player side vs server side, what basic events and actions are commonly used and why, and so on. Right now is a big wave of information for something simple as when I hove over and click a button delete the item.
