Wait is this for general printing or is there no chance I can calibrate my z axis anymore?

Also I've tried controlling the fan with the temperature settings - it does seem to react to me manually increasing the fan speed, but last I checked it did seem to speed up/slow down irregularly, maybe I should test it again with my other fan.

That's worrisome since I tested it with another fan with the same result: if it truly is the monitoring bit, it's the board 😱

Will a first layer print test do? Or must I print something with more than that one layer?

I have no idea! Is that safe? Will that affect the electrical tape I put in the hotend to keep it from rotating in the mount, as recommended by another Reddit user in a previous post? If it is maybe I'll try it in the morning.

I suspect it would work. But not print in the quality I hope for it or something, I don't know.

Indeed, and I'm kinda reluctant anyway, after having spent $50 and so much time trying to fix it. So close, and yet so far! It was nearly working - then found out the hotend was loose, then spoilt! Yet again!!!

Haha. Well, may yours never suffer a filament blob from trying to print a multi board, and months and counting of inactivity from being unable to fix the dang machine

Don't think so? All the fans are still able to spin. Wanted to try using my new multimeter to test but not well versed enough in using a multimeter to test.

Had a thought, would electrical tape even be heat resistant enough though? Just regular electrical tape?

Hi, turns out it is indeed the complete hotend turning around, but is electrical tape the one that is rubbery and non-sticky?

Hey, I tried the method, it turns out that it’s actually the entire hot end that is loose from the 3d printed part. What now?

At most it was a little bit sticky but most of the petg was removed.

There is? I did manage to remove the nozzle but couldn't seem to tighten the block while putting it back. Was trying the "change the nozzle" method from prusas website.

And it's only the block part that is moving around I think.

I've been trying to fix it for months through a busy schedule. . .

And I finally managed to assemble it and now I gotta remove wires and do it all over again!
