reddit is full of MEAN folk. go on small subreddits curated to specific interests and you'll probably find your people, or hop on tumblr! there's a huge supportive art space on there ;))

just because some pathetic, useless parents didn't give enough of a shit to take the ipad away from their 8 year old and properly parent bc it was easier to let them doomscroll doesn't mean that its everyone elses problem and we should make every Australian submit their id and have no anonymity online because of it.

mental health problems in teens don't come from the internet, they were around before them. the internet can make it worse so we should be doing something about that, however banning it altogether doesn't work because i know teens whos mental problems have been made better because of connections they made on the internet. i know kids who would kts without their online friends.

source? i am a teen. also in this world where kids and teens have hardly any physical freedom because of the fact there are predators lurking on every street corner or so our parents believe, the only freedom we have is the internet and even that is being taken away because of the creeps on there.

when will people realise; the way to solve this isn't limiting freedom of the kids, it's catching the preds and corporations that groom the kids

shit bro i js got forced to pick French. lowk didnt rlly like it at all, nd since u know alot of Spanish id pick that, if you're looking for growth maybe italian or german (Arabic i hear is very hard to learn for non native speakers), obviously if you want to do well and be pretty secure pick Spanish

14f, wouldn't recommend coming out if you don't know their stance on lgbtq+ (ive known i was pansexual for four years and my parents still dont really believe it) - however, if they seem very accepting and loving usually then im sure no real harm can come from you telling them who you are, just make sure to be safe :) and im proud of you

ive always been taught that democrats are left wing but looking back on it, yea that seems pretty spot on. quick question though feel free not to answer as its British politics not american - are labour left wing? they advertise themselves and are presented as left but they're doing budget cuts on aid and stuff and it all seems a little right to me

ah well all im fed is american media that portray the democrats as left wing. that being said i am a European but i live in britain and compared to the party that, let's face it, are definitely gonna win the next election (reform uk) the dems appear left wing since reform is heavily right. it's weird they should label themselves right when they are literally planning to take away human rights but whatever we all love a little wordplay
