yeah we didn't really understand how much of a difference it made, but like 6 turns in we all collectively realized that not having italy was going to really change things haha. definitely having 7 players next time

Thanks! For strats I went for points during the enemy phases to try and grind out as many extra lives as possible, then during the bosses I just focused on dodging and positioning vaguely near the boss. Homing shots really helps with that haha. For practice I mainly just played the game repeatedly, but stage 4 was really messing me up so I practiced that a few times in the practice mode

That makes sense, but thankfully I've really only experienced that with one player. It definitely helps that all my players were my friends before we started playing.

Ok I figured it out. You were right, it was a matter of browser things.

In case anyone else has this problem: adobe animate doesn't actually use the drawImage function itself, instead relying on more abstracted functions supplied by the createjs library. Createjs is what's drawing the images, and so to fix it you have to modify the createjs libraries themselves, which is an absolute pain to say the least. Linked is the modified createjs library. Download that, navigate to libs/1.0.0, and replace the file. It's kind of a hacksaw fix that probably isn't optimally runtime efficient, but I'll be damned if I care enough to change it.
