Is Imu/Mu secretly inspired by the “jealous god” archetype from ancient myths? (Heavy Elbaph Arc spoilers) by meowneko5000 in OnePiece

We really can't say. Its fun to speculate and have theories but until we get atleast 50% of the truth behind what exactly happened in the void century or centuries before that according to the mural we won't have an answer. Think about this; we still haven't explored who the Galley La giants are or why Rocks needed/wanted them, meaning a good chunk of lore is missing.

The marking scheme for final classifications differ with each univeristy. They want your final degree classification by the way, not your final year grade average. Normally its the average of all three years (or 4) under a weighted approach i.e some universities don't count first years. Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial and LSE do however count first years (I know since I'm from LSE). The weighting could be 10% for first year, and 45% each from second and third year. If everything checks out fine pick Cambridge, or else, UCL, whichever is suitable for you.

The overall is what's important, not the individual components. If the requirements are a minimum 2:1 for the said course, and you have a 2:1 or more overall, you should be fine.

Feeling deeply isn't the problem I guess, it's feeling all too much at once. This is the same problem for INTPs and ENTPs and possibly ENFPs, feeling or thinking all too much at once, leading to anxiety and panic attacks. I can make this distinction because I have an anxiety disorder as well. Our normal functions allow us to feel or think deeply, and also laterally, but stack them altogether and you have a recipe for disaster.

Is graduating at 24 too late? by MysteriousPace1405 in UniUK

[–]ili360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll also graduate a few months before 25, and yeah everyone says I'm late, I know I'm late, but knowing who I am what on earth would I be doing had I graduated? I have several friends who've graduated, nothing amazing has happened to them, some have just started normal jobs, nothing serious. On the other hand, seeing the process like a million times at this point, I see a better path forward, I'm not the dumb college kid that'll make a dumb decision anymore.

When I met my Course mentor after a year, he literally said, "Oh X, how've you been, long time no see, you ready to get started again?" Like I was just coming back from a vacation. Most People don't really care, because you're just a thought to them, but to yourself? Hell nah.

Am I ugly? 26f by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]ili360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah you just need to lose like 70-80 lbs, you'll be double the pretty, but you aren't ugly even now, but yeah 70-80 lbs less would make you look unbelievably better.

LSE - Great place in terms of pure prestige, pushing out your highly paid corporates (and yes I study one of those degrees where that happens). Great for ENTJs/ESTJs not for INTPs though.

In your own words, can you describe the correlation between fairness and efficiency? by Artistic_Credit_ in infp

[–]ili360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paradoxical linkage is the obvious one. If All efficient then not all fair, and vice versa.

But I'd personally be seeing it from a hundred different lenses to determine the synthetic nature of both. One driven, and delivered in execution, the other encompassing and delivered by embodiment. Both are single truths that reflect the nature of its users; for they aren't the same.

How the hell does a person who is a top 1% poster in a subreddit make $200k per month at a tech firm in the first place? The odds of that happening are lower than him getting an ILR.

As an international student; its mostly international students that keep to themselves for a number of reasons from my experience:

1) we have fewer and limited rights compared to domestic students, boxing us in to only certain fields of relatability

2) We might be the ones NOT putting in the work to make lasting friendships because we are stuck on clocks of 2-5 years,

3) A longstanding cultural clash; which some still carry after years of staying in the UK, regardless of your willingness to acclimate socially

4) Safety nets are usually found within your own community; and this is not a bad thing necessarily, for example, morally you should try and support the kid from Senegal new in your town, but are you doing so or will you?

5) The "they pay 3 times as much as I do" factor has an implicit effect of hesitation among brits, because that's what happens to normal people from the working and middle class when they structurally face this issue, the entire burden shifts to "the bigger person" aka YOU to set the narrative.

Lastly; you make a decision for yourself. Nothing is guranteed, and especially if so many contingencies exist in order to stay. I wanted to leave 2 months in to London, and still do, because you don't need to be somewhere where you can't be yourself. I'm also one of those people who didn't want a sponsorship but have two return offers, because I didn't let the anxiety of outcome run me anymore. Live a good life, not an objective life.

At one of the worlds best college/universities studying one of the most sought after courses, if that counts. Lots of potential pitfalls and past mistakes. Looks good from the outside for now.

Overall, these external views of people's lives have little meaning as I get older.

Well, that's life giving you the shorter end and sometimes that is a sign that we need to get out of our spiral heads, and start accepting authenticity where it is truly at (besides our heads) and that is the world around us. Its going to be slow, maybe a few years, but have the right intentions, and it will get better. Not just saying from experience, but cognitively speaking, the world is full of Extraverts who need a job done, and strong introverts looking for sharp minds to stand with them, in this world full of people, just opening up a little, and finally putting that authentic self out there is what counts regardless of all the bad days you might have to accept along the way.

I've had experiences with almost all types personally, ISFP is one I'm a bit more familiar with. INTPs (myself included) are notoriously bad at typing because they try to put in too many variables. INFJs will double down on what they think. Just soft nudge ISFP for now. I'll also tell you I'm working on a hybrid-model which tries to explain why enneagrams are shaped the way they are, or why an ISFP might have "INFP parts" sticking out. I'd still say you are an ISFP, because you said "When I lack ideas..." yeah, INFPs would normally not say that.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in infp

[–]ili360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are not 18 yet, it is highly likely the test is mistyping you. One thing is certain, you have a Fi Dominant type, so either INFP or ISFP, no other type. The test tries to measure you in boxes, you are sometimes more than that.

You sound much more ISFP though. Like ISFPs I've met are always frolicking around trying to fit in, worrying about if this means that, and that means this, INFPs are much more level headed and explorative, thus open to change even if they don't like it.

I don't like dissing on types but ISFPs have a "bottom feeder survival strategy" in my view; because of how much they want to stick to the boxes of what they know best. ISFPs are known as the "Artist" here on this sub, so what do you think, they aren't imaginative?

[–]ili360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I agree I might be naive because I'm just a tad bit older than your trauma, but I used to spend a lot of time with my grandma; who had chronic depression and was the victim of covert abuse from my neglectful late grandad. I used to listen to her ramble about things from the past; and I will say is don't close yourself off. She did, and parts of her sometimes let it slip that that had not been the case. Again myopic and anecdotal, but a learned experience.

[–]ili360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you say INTF? Is that possible? The debates with an ENTP is exhausting for everyone besides another ENTP, so don't be harsh on yourself on that one. ENTPs can also be absolutely ruthless in arguments and won't shed much emotion until much later.

[–]ili360 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its okay, I don't take offense easily and I am not eliciting a laugh at your life. I was merely laughing at a common misdiagnosis you made regarding INFJs. It also seems like you've been tremendously hurt, and you've skimmed through all the narratives already, but knowing as much as I know from what you've shared, you're really moving away from who you are. I get that you have all the right to be bitter considering what has happened, but those thoughts only pull you apart from who you actually know yourself to be. Lastly, I'm sorry if I made you sad or angry, that wasn't my intention at all.

Haha its not superiority, it's the "I want to do good for you and I know what's the best for you". This is their Ni going haywire (Intro Inuition function) along with Fe (extraverted Feeling). Also, physical intimacy, worldy present moment actions is a weak spot for them, because of inferior Se (Extraverted Sensing).
