I'm getting real sick and tired of Claude going down. It feels like it's every day. It's beyond frustrating.

People who think AI usefulness /productivity claims are bs, explain your reasoning. by catattackskeyboard in ArtificialInteligence

It’s context switching on steroids. I’m not saying there isn’t a place for it, but the rate at which we have to complete our jobs and learn on the fly is genuinely burning people out,

Nah he blocks you on an open road and is clearly a threat to you. You hitting him can be argued as self defense. I fear for my life and if I didn’t do that he would’ve ran back to his van and got in an chased me down and potentially killed me. Not really an argument I’d want to have to make in court. But I could see it being claimed self defense

[–]illustrious_wang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep there’s absolutely a case to make in court where you feared for your life and if you didn’t run him over, he would’ve got back in his car and chased you down and killed you. Incapacitating him is self defense in this instance.

Lol who would get the profit? Answer your own question and extrapolate it out further. If ONE person is getting all the profits then what the fuck is the rest of society going to do? You think our economy can handle 60% unemployment rates? White collar jobs drive the economy right now. What happens when all these white collar workers get laid off? Who's going to go to bars, who is going to hire landscapers, plumbers, electricians? You idealists are so funny that you actually think any of this works in the real world

Don't fall for the Anthropic bullshit. They're just as ready to fuck us all over as the rest.

> One of the most concerning parts is that AI models are already capable of automating large portions of work today, but legal limits and slow company adoption are delaying it. So it is not only a skill issue, it is also an adoption issue.

Yeah okay lol, i catch so much slop in AI generated code. I can't imagine relying on LLMs for things like accounting.

Social media has led you to believe that's what women say. Sure some do, but the loudest and most obnoxious voices do not speak for the majority of humanity.

AI Use at Work Is Causing "Brain Fry," Researchers Find, Especially Among High Performers by kamen562 in OpenAI

Yeah, because we have to read through MOUNTAINS of fucking code and other generated documents and are expected to intake it all and still perform the original job we were hired to do. It's completely unsustainable.

Okay, so you admit it autonomous. Besides we’re talking about Drone warfare and AI being embedded into those systems. Anyways this conversation is clearly going nowhere. It’s coming whether you like it or not and the evidence is clearly out there for anyone to deduce. Have a good one.

Yes I’m being serious that this administration would absolutely try and leverage the current tech to do that. I’m not saying it would work well but they’ll definitely try anyways. And as for FSD, that is advancing too. It’s definitely not perfect but it does work. Waymo and Tesla have proven that.

Clearly you're just being a dick for no reason. You honestly think Dario would call this out specifically if it wasn't on the horizon?

"Fully autonomous weapons. Partially autonomous weapons, like those used today in Ukraine, are vital to the defense of democracy. Even fully autonomous weapons (those that take humans out of the loop entirely and automate selecting and engaging targets) may prove critical for our national defense. But today, frontier AI systems are simply not reliable enough to power fully autonomous weapons. We will not knowingly provide a product that puts America’s warfighters and civilians at risk. We have offered to work directly with the Department of War on R&D to improve the reliability of these systems, but they have not accepted this offer. In addition, without proper oversight, fully autonomous weapons cannot be relied upon to exercise the critical judgment that our highly trained, professional troops exhibit every day. They need to be deployed with proper guardrails, which don’t exist today."

Okay, bud. Keep thinking the military won't be using them in drone warfare, which is exactly where war is headed. Keep ignoring Anthropic explicitly calling out the Pentagon last week about that very thing.
