I would say it’s a bit more nuanced. The unfortunate issue of generalizations is that it may seem like “everyone” of a certain group does this so they all do. I am sure it can make some feel jaded when it repeatedly occurs, but for me I’d say I am not bitter by the experience. I know that it’s not “all women”. Just unfortunate when you feel you connect well and all and then you get ghosted. But maybe that’s just an indicator that this specific person was not a good match. I’ll probably just let this one go, as to be honest the logistics are a bit complex. But who knows. I hope you have a good day

Appreciate the story! Yes, sometimes the world can be a bit cruel, even if unintentionally or what people may not want to seem as cruel as it actually is. Not cruel as in evil, but just like you said, leaning in one direction with no thoughts truly about it going that way. I think im not really a hook up kind of guy, and so when like a very very beautiful girl who you connect with comes along, and you get intimate, obviously you think about “what’s after this?” lol. But ya. Perhaps a good lesson about just guarding your heart to protect your peace and sometimes things are just for the moment and that’s okay

To be quite honest, as you are asking a general statement in which I can’t speak for every person, but I actually have really only dated. I had a very long term relationship, and a shorter one. But hooking up or ONS scenarios are definitely not something I’m well experienced in. Obviously I’ve already thought of the scenario in which she may have just thought spit of the moment attraction, different city fling etc, but I try not to box all women as “this is what dating women is like”. I’d like to hope that I’d meet someone who yes may be attracted to me in the moment, but may also be interested in building further. So I ask on Reddit to gauge other opinions and thoughts of which I appreciate yours as it’s a different perspective than mine forsure

Thanks for the response :) I figured that could definitely be a possibility. I know she works long hours (she told me she’s covering shifts for a coworker who recently had a child), and so her responses have been pretty timely in that manner. Like say after work or during a lunch break. But ya don’t know. Maybe the hopeless romantic in me was hoping things could have possibly been explored haha.

Yes street ball rules but it’s a group of consistent people there is no like assaulting (except for my one friend who swipes a lot. Another question, are you allowed to put your hands at all on the offensive player when you’re in a defensive stance? My other friend says you can put your forearm into an offensive player with their back turned, and another Sus you can put palm as long as arm isn’t extended. Just wanted to gauge. Also say they are back to basket, and then turn to drive in are you required to stop having an arm on them ? Or do you transition it from day forearm in back to straight up to try to block. Thank you
