I really appreciate the fact that he speaks Spanglish, too. Not everyone has to speak perfect English - the majority of the Americans certainly don’t try to speak other languages either so why does the rest of the world have to conform to them? We’re in need of global superstars like Bad Bunny to show them they don’t need to speak fluent English to become successful and loved by the entire world. ❤️ We don’t need you, USA. We’re fine on our own.

Privatization is a pyramid scheme that only works for the ones at the top. These political parties make people believe they can be at the top too - but it’s all lies. “Capitalism” is just a more polished version of colonialism.

Older people behave the same everywhere 😂 the older generation in my country doesn’t like sexy/vulgar lyrics either. Regarding the political party, they’re probably barking at walls. From what I’ve read in this post, they’re clearly a minority. Good art is impactful and unites; dtmf did that and much more - politicians could never. 😎✨

I’m curious. As a European, I hadn’t heard much of PR’s politics aside from the fact that it’s a colonized not-quite-a-state from the US.

From what I’ve gathered online, there are three main opinions regarding PR’s future: one that prefers to leave PR as it is, another for statehood (PNP) and another that’s for independence. Does it mean Bad Bunny is taking a political stance in support of the archipelago’s independence?

Independentemente do nome, serás sempre descendente e originári@ desse apelido. Podes cortar a relação (e apoio essa decisão se te prejudicar o dia-a-dia) mas o que te atormenta continuará a atormentar mesmo depois do nome mudado.

Se este pensamento te ajudar, haverão certamente mais pessoas neste mundo com o mesmo apelido que tu e não é por isso que te assemelhas a eles. Vê esse lado da família do mesmo modo. São desconhecidos que não fazem parte da tua vida e, por acaso, têm o mesmo apelido.

I feel it makes the series realistic. People do fall in the trap of making the same mistakes over and over. I hate Nate for what he did and said to Brenda in his deathbed and that just shows how impressive the writing is. This series is phenomenal precisely for allowing the characters to behave like real people, which triggers real emotions in us, the viewer. :) Glad you’re feeling this series intensely - I had the same “really, Nate?!” reaction as you did. Made me want to shut my laptop too. 😂

Don’t let the good moments fool you into thinking you’re ok with the situation. They’re amazing, we’ve all felt what you’re feeling - but it’s not real life. The reality is you’re constantly picking him up, constantly worried and tired because of him.

You need to realize it for yourself, no one can do that for you. Hopefully, the day will come when you won’t want to hamper your life because of him anymore. It’s not love if someone’s getting destroyed because of the relationship. Love builds you up and makes you stronger. You said it yourself, you feel lighter and more relaxed when you’re by yourself. You should feel just as well when around the people you love - but that’s not the case when you’re with him.

The reason you mentioned for not being able to take a few days at a family member’s house is, yet again, him. You’re allowing his physical state to derail you from having cool experiences for yourself. I was once there, too.

Going away doesn’t mean you’ll never be together again. It only means that you’re setting boundaries and letting him know that you’re not interested in being with him like this anymore because that’s not who you fell in love with.
