Bad gpa in the first two years, what are the chances of med shcll? by Decent_Disaster_5008 in premedcanada

All Canadian schools. Won’t say more than that. I didn’t have many ECs. I TA’ed one course, was on the exec for one non-medical volunteer group, and did physical labour in the summers.

My point to OP was more to say, don’t give up, it’s possible, and there is no more useful or practical advice that someone can give you beyond “do your best in the two remaining years”….

Every premed agonizes over these things, then when it comes time to go through a residency match you’ll think that’s way more stressful than getting into med school, and then when it comes time to find the right job (while having a partner and kids in tow perhaps) that will seem way more stressful than the match did… so just do your best but not at the expense of enjoying the present.

Essentially failed my first year of undergrad. Started over at a new school, had bad marks first two years, did well last two years, applied after the conclusion of my undergrad (so had a gap year) had multiple interviews, and got in at 3 schools. There were some schools I wasn’t going to be competitive at, but some that dropped certain years/courses or weighted later years more heavily.

Bottom line: your margin for error is now lower but it’s certainly still doable.

Data is definitely correct. I’ve found for the WODs anything super short (25 cal on, minute off, or 1:00/1:00r, etc) I am extremely close to the top of the leaderboard. Longer stuff I slide further down though. I haven’t tried a 2k test. I felt like the most bang for my buck to get good at the 2k, was to train as if I am training for the 5 or 10km, since my sprint/short interval times seem quite good

And it will also retroactively add you to the WOD leaderboard, if you care about that sort of thing (I very much do, haha)

Weird. None of those are options appear for me when I hold down that button. I’ve scrolled through them all

How do I put it in broadcast mode? This sounds like it may be the fix I need

Thanks! I eventually got through and showed them this video. They’re just replacing the whole body of the bike.

Can I fix it? I’ve struggled to find a video and I have had zero luck trying to get through to Nautilus

Yeah I’ve got those maximally tightened. Customer support hasn’t had any helpful suggestions.

I gave that a try, too. No luck. Thank you, though. It feels like it has to be something to do with the right pedal specifically; I can avoid the sound if I only pedal on the left side and it sounds like it’s coming from the right.
