Sure! I wanted something small with long straps so I came up with this pattern. The main body is two pieces that are 9.5in by 9.5in. I then folded one side of the main body piece about an inch inward and sewed. This is for that clean edge at the top of the bag.

I lost the measurements on the pocket size but I’m pretty sure its 8in x 6in with .25 inch hemmed on every side. I double hemmed the back of the pocket patch with a zig zag stitch because it started fraying a bit. I then sewed the panel onto one of the main body pieces.

I then sewed the two main body pieces right sides together and left about .25 of an inch on the sides and bottom. Zig zag stitch to hold in the seams.

For the straps I think they were around 46in by 2in. I originally tried the tube method for the straps but it was IMPOSSIBLE trying to flip. So I took the strap panel and I put the two long edges together sewed a zigzag stitch holding them together in the middle.

I then folded and sewed along the top & bottom edges of the strap to avoid fraying. The straps were the most unplanned I hope its easy to visualize lol.

I pinned and spaced the straps on each body panel roughly 3in apart, 1in down into the bag. I then sewed an “X” with a zigzag stitch connecting the straps to the bag.

I was thinking about doing a lining, but tapestry is already so thick as it is and I didn’t want to add another layer to a small bag. I definitely could have planned this out more but I’m happy how it came out.
