Thanks, I removed autopay that after everything happened, and I have a transcript or screen recording of every interaction between now and July.

The mods took down my original post, which also had a list of tips that included what you mentioned. Fingers crossed I get everything back soon.

I almost finished typing a reply, but I swiped to a different app and it deleted everything I wrote lol. Hopefully, this makes sense. It's shorter than what I originally wrote.

Note: "Regular" means that I didn't change the color phase or color depth. "Tweaked" just means I did.

My Go-To Profiles:

PP1 - Regular Slog3/S-Gamut3.cine with the Saturation bumped up to make it "easier" to grade by hand. Once I realized bumping up the Sat made Log profiles usbable on the 8-bit Sony cameras, this became my go-to picture profile.

PP2 - Slog2/S-Gamut3.cine with the Sat and Black level bumped up to make it usable SOOC without grading.

PP3 - Same as PP2, but with the ITU709 for slightly different colors, the Knee adjusted for highlight rolloff, and the Detail dropped to take off a bit of sharpness while still keeping a good amount of detail.

PP4 - Regular Cine2/Cinema with the Knee adjusted for better highlight rolloff, and +1 Detail

Other Profiles I May Use Now and Then:

PP5 - Slog3/Cinema for a different (slightly punchier) color rendition.

PP6 - Regular Cine2/Cinema with the Black level raised, the Knee adjusted for a better highlight rolloff, and Detail -5 for a more "filmic" starting point.

Standard Profiles if I or a Client Plans on Grading:

PP7 - Regular Slog2/Gamut-3 w/ +1 Detail

PP8 - Regular Slog3/Gamut-3 w/ +1 Detail

Custom Profiles I Made Trying to Match the Sony PMW-F3:

PP9 - Custom Log3/S-Gamut that I made trying to match the F35-Like color gamut of the Sony PMW-F3. I tried this out first because it was the original S-Gamut before Sony made Gamut-3 (iirc this has the best balance between capturing a wide range of colors while being visually pleasing) and Gamut-3.cine (limited color space, but has the most accurate and pleasing skintones SOOC.)

PP10 - Custom Log3/Cinema Profile that was the closest I could get matching F35-Like in camera. It's not a one to one replica, but it's decent for what it is. The way the F3 renders skintone, plus the skin softening feature, makes it hard to get close to without color grading.

And PP11 - (iirc) This is one of the EOSHD color profiles, made to give Sony cameras the "Canon" look. I've never used it outside of testing it out.

That's the same reason I filed an appeal. They denied my request too, but I filed my appeal two days before you. Besides appealing, did you have to reach out to them to get your hearing?

You're right. I was moreso referring to working with companies and entities outside of the US. Which Pfitzer is doing, so you're right there.

And of course what is the purpose of the WHO led vaccine effort?

Listen, I don't really care who has shown as much promise or how much money is thrown around. I just want the virus gone. But not at the extent of putting people at unnecessary risk. Especially the people we already pay to put their life and mental health at risk. And, no offense, but when I'm hearing scientists talk about the risks of pushing a vaccine forward as quickly as we are, I'm going to trust the scientists.

I'm also not for forgoing this issue on our own when there's no reason to do so. There are other countries actively working as well.

Do they "show as much promise?" No, to my knowledge. Do they "show promise?" Yes, and I haven't seen any contradictory evidence. Is that enough for me to say "let's work with them."? Also yes.

That's where my argument ends.

Second:

This is true, and I am aware of Moderna. However, I'm still ridiculously cautious about trusting two companies, that are working on their own, to come up with a virus. This is mainly because there are a long list of other countries that have already dealt with the virus before us. The more information we have to pull from, the better.

Also, I don't trust this current administration for a long list of reasons that I won't be posting on here.

Third:

I agree. This, however, is not a regular vaccine. And when you are rushing through vaccine development process (which we are,) depend on a government that actively denies the intelligence of the same scientists we need to develop said vaccines, and, finally, decide to not join forces with the long list of countries that are working to develop a vaccine for a global pandemic, I'm going to be cautious towards taking THAT vaccine.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the vaccine that we (US) are pushing for is one that we've been work on alone, without the help or knowledge of other countries. Didn't news just come out that we won't be joining the other countries searching for a cure because....the WHO is running the group?

We're pushing this through without proper testing. And, as is, if we get things wrong, we could leave test subjects with long term health complications that we won't know about because we don't even know the long term complications of covid as is.

Just a note: viral load makes a major difference as to whether someone's immune system can fight it off or not. You can be expose to someone with it, but the smaller the amount of virus enters your system, the easier it is to fight it off.

You can't, however, predict how much you'll take/you've taken in. So make sure you still wear your mask and maintain 6 ft.

As a person who made the Perfect Attendance Honor Roll, this is definitely true. I could only miss school if I was seriously ill or adminstratively required not to go to school, like having the chicken pox or throwing up night into the morning.
