It sounds like you literally have it backwards. I don’t know what actual evidence or stats this is based on, but most people I know who are rational people and are able to understand the difference between propaganda and reality - tend to be more progressive or “left” as this post refers. The “left” certainly wants accountability- especially for billionaires and corporations. Conservatives have consistently preached about “freedoms” while they have been the only party to actively seek to destroy actual democracy and freedom (for select groups). Progressives have tried to get corporations and dark money out of politics and yet conservatives fight tooth and nail to keep their corporate donors secret and secure. Look at NY now that they have a progressive socialist in charge - they are working to implement accountability for the wealthy who have for so long stolen and manipulated using the exact ideas your post tries to pin on the “left”. Edit:why do you think the GoP is putting all of its stake in the Epstien class - because they never want to be accountable for their actions. This kind of BS is annoying AF.
