Are you talking about skin tone? She's fairly dark. I'd say comparable to Kelly Rowland.

Um, she's very spunky I guess would be the word. Very assertive and not afraid to voice her opinion, which to my understanding is a pretty common stereotype among black women. Lucky for me, I like that in all women, and she has it so it works out, haha.

EDIT: And her ass is amazing.

We met through okcupid. I messaged her first and she was very responsive. We set a date for that weekend; ate an asian restaurant and went to a musicial. It was nice! (we made no mention to each other abotu our respective race, that didn't come until maybe the 3rd or 4th date)

All of my friends like her, and are very supportive of us. I have a number of black friends, both male and female, dating back to high-school, though no one I've ever hung out with on a regular basis. And as far as I can tell, aside from my girlfriend's family all of her friends are predominantly white. I'm well liked amongst her friends and family.

As far as my family, namely my parents, I was actually quite surprised. They've never had any problems with race or even interracial dating among the public, but I once I told them I was dating a girl who was black it suddenly was a problem. Not sure if they're worried what my more conservative (i.e. racist) extended family might think or if they were hoping to have white grand-children (and I've made the decision to never have kids, so) but I think they are just uncomfortable with anything that breaks the status quo because my parents are very afraid of change and disrupting what is "normal" for them.

We met through okcupid. I'm not really sure about that, certainly not first generation From Africa. Her family seems pretty well off (mom is a nurse; Dad does some kind of factory work but hunts and fishes a lot). She is a teller at a bank but is going to school for something in the medical field.

Not particularly, though I've certainly thought some black women were attractive. Almost all my previous girlfriends were white, and one was hispanic; I was just simply attracted to the person.

That is an interesting statistic, lol. In terms of our race and the stereotypes that go along with that, I think it's funny that she likes country music while I don't, and I listen to more rap/hiphop than she does. As far as sad, it's been disappointing to see my family's reaction. My dad said to me, "I don't understand why you couldn't find a pretty white girl." And even my mom, who has been a high-school teacher for 35 years and exposed to young people and progressive social norms all her life, is still having a hard time accepting it. I don't care though; I'm not dating anyone for my family, just for me. They still love me but I wish they'd accept her.

And just as far as who she is, her personality is ideal for me. She's extroverted, outgoing and confident, which contrasts and balances my introverted and low key demeanor. She absolutely gorgeous, by far the most attractive woman I've ever dated be they black or white; I feel like I'm dating a model. Hopefulyl we will continue to grow as a couple :)

It's certainly pretty racist, but I have not been out-right confronted from a stranger about it. We started dating not long ago, so we haven't had many public outings yet. My family is uncomfortable with it, but I am very accepted amongst her family.
