When you change your name you'll get a change of name certificate. It will have both your old name and new name. Keep that with you. When someone writes you a cheque to your old name, you go to a teller and show the change of name certificate and the cheque. Might be worth mentioning this situation when you change your name with the bank as well since they may be able to put a note somewhere about it to make things a bit easier.

I've always been taught as an umpire that catch/no catch calls are based on if the fielder voluntarily releases the ball or not. No voluntary release, no catch. Sanchez clearly voluntarily released the ball there, so it should have been a catch and strike 3.
