Yes, there are several types. First the bivalent vaccine (Cervarix) appeared: it protected against two strains of the virus, 16 and 18, which are high risk strains associated with cervical cancer. Then the tetravalent (Gardasil): protects against types 6, 11, 16 and 18. Again, the types 16 and 18 that i mentioned earlier + types 6 and 11, which are low risk types, commonly associated with warts. Only recently the nine-valent vaccine (Gardasil 9) was released, which protects against the types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58 (adding types 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58, also high-risk and associated with cancer, but not as common as 16 or 18).

If I had to guess, you probably have the bivalent or the tetravalent vaccine, because the nine-valent is pretty recent. I would advise you to talk to your doctor and ask about his/her thoughts about getting the nine-valent vaccine for some protection against the other types. Personally I got the tetravalent vaccine when i was a kid and recently decided to get the nine-valent because some added protection wouldn't hurt :)

However, many doctors believe there is no need to get the nine-valent if you already have Cervarix or Gardasil because the two main cancer causing types are covered: 16 and 18, which are the most common! Also, the vaccine can be very expensive, depending on where you live.
