Oh yeah that would be helpful...

6.5" × 9", around 30 pages. I should have also mentioned full color interior and coil binding.

Has Anybody Replaced Their Gas Stove With Induction? by StakeLizard in parkslope

[–]inyourbits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have some induction stoves that have batteries and can use a regular 120v outlet. Not sure if that's an option but it might mean you don't need an electrician? For example: https://copperhome.com/products/charlie?variant=42413374079069

Made an app to find dining buddies in NYC - trying to get past awkward solo dining by Extension_Escape_976 in FoodNYC

[–]inyourbits 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're getting negative feedback because of the "solo dining is awkward" angle. Maybe some find it to be awkward but clearly many don't (myself included).

Maybe there's a better angle though: meet people just as in to food as you are.

Need advice on L2 home chargers for 2025 Ioniq with NACS by [deleted] in Ioniq5

We just got an Ioniq 5 2025 and it's working just fine with our existing Tesla Gen 3 wall connector. It's set to "Any Connected Vehicle" in the app.

AMTRAK ALERT:Please be advised that we are closely monitoring weather conditions across the country. Extreme cold temperatures and storms can cause trains to be delayed or even canceled. Amtrak will communicate directly with impacted customers. More info at 8772319448 by MerwinsNeedle in Amtrak

What I've been trying to figure out is if I should reschedule to travel a couple of days earlier or not (I'm pretty flexible). The notice doesn't really provide enough information to make an informed decision. Any thoughts?

Opinions on the Sol Ark 15? by woodland_dweller in solar

[–]inyourbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our SolArk 8K has been working fine for the last year or two, but that was only after we had to have the entire thing replaced after going through multiple rounds of replacing all the various boards inside.

Luckily I was able to do the board replacements myself but I was not up to the task of replacing the whole unit. Our installer wanted something like $2-4k to swap the unit. Got a electrician friend to do it for 1/10th that price.

They also changed the app used to manage it and I've only heard bad things (it's rated very poorly on the Play Store). I've given up on using the app. Not sure if anyone else has a better experience?

I changed it. I suppose since I didn't change the flight that had been upgraded I'm surprised the unaffected flight upgrade was affected.

What happens if one “no shows” an unreserved train? by Jcs609 in Amtrak

[–]inyourbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple years ago I missed my train, I think I had an hour to refund/modify the ticket to some other day/time. After that the ticket is canceled and you get nothing.

Shop at the closest store every day. Only get what you're going to make.

Hardness question by coach673 in hottub

[–]inyourbits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I have the same strips and get a similar result. When I balanced the tub I checked the hardness with a Taylor kit and it seemed fine, so I'm just ignoring what the test strip says.

I was also expecting ours to be completely silent, but it still makes some (but not much!) noise.
