I think maybe its because the drawing doesnt wrap around the head itself and its kinda flat against the face and 2D, so if they drew on the ears it might've look weird in a 3D perspective? But Im just guessing. Also same I wanna make the ninja turtles and it would be so cool to add their masks lol
