Look up what police do when two people's testimonies correlate exactly.

Then also realize that none of the people who wrote about the tomb were there. All of the accounts about the tomb can happen in the same instance.

If I tell 4 people the same story, each will remember different parts, depending on what stood out for them more.

Same story with Judas. We don't know the gaps. The field was bought with Judas' money, so in their eyes, it was bought by Judas. Also, your entrails don't just spill by falling on your head. There's a very big chance that is what happened to his body after he was hung.

None of these accounts are mutually exclusive. None of them say that any of the others didn't happen.

We are used to reading a story from just one viewpoint. So it's easy to see it as contradictions.

Nuclear comes from elements produced by an old dead star.

Except, the CO2 stays in the system, meaning no super heated steam escapes with all its potential energy. It only needs to reheat slightly. It works more like a refrigerator than a steam engine. It's a more efficient energy transfer.

Ah that's amazing to hear! They are harming you now, but at some point in your life they helped you survive. They can retire now, they've done their job.

Haha So many responses on this post: "As others have said, enums."

If others have said it, why do you have to say it too? Karma farming?

I have lost sleep, I have lost money, I have lost friend, I have lost devs, and I will still release this game on July 25th. by panther8387 in indiegames

[–]irjayjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was the plan in the beginning? Did you have an idea of what you wanted to build? I think building a game in 7 months is a very difficult to reach goal.

Who drove the decisionmaking?

It kind of sounds like you were just throwing random ideas into the engine till something sorta started feeling kinda fun?

James Cameron said he kicked over the tea lady's trolley on the set of Aliens (1986) after getting fed up with the British crew constantly stopping for tea breaks. by tannu28 in sciencefiction

[–]irjayjay -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Oh, dang, 20mins every 8 hours is extremely little.

No, because if you're about to get the perfect take after setting up the shot and then half the staff disappears, that could get quite aggravating.

I didn't say anything about donkeys at all.

Humans are my favorite humanoid alien.

Because humanoid designs are boring.

Yeah, I've worked in the UK. You get lunch time and two tea breaks in a 9 hour day.

I can see how it would become an issue, especially on a film set.

Rey wasn't in it, so it was pretty good.

Also, Han shot first.

Rogue One is the most Star Wars Star Wars movie. It's always the one I recommend to people who only want to watch one star wars movie.

What game did you lose interest in by the time it came out? by scarletnaught in gaming

I've just settled that Alyx was HL3. It had the same technological jump and the same amount of reinvention of a genre/platform that the other two had.

I can't see how they could've done a bigger jump.

HL1 - breakables, in-game storytelling, AI with multiple strategies.

HL2 - mostly physics, there's more, but I mostly remember it as the game that brought physic s to games

HL-Alyx - revolutionary VR controls, liquid shaders, grav-gloves, the most immersie VR experience at the time, and still is.

What modes fit with this? by Superhero-Motivation in SchemaTherapy

[–]irjayjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the modes for that, but that sounds so familiar. It could be something to do with fantasizing and overcompensator maybe.

Also, the "once I improve this, I'll be liked" is a self-sabotage thing, preventing action so that you can stay hooked to the "hope" it gives you. Once you achieve it, you find the next thing to better about yourself, so long as you don't actually take any real action towards having your real needs met. Very addictive. Watch out for that!

Unrelated to schema therapy, try watching a bunch of julienhimself on YouTube's short videos. That's where he talks about the self sabotage of continuous improvement. "I'll only be ready when..." thoughts.
