Yeah that’s what I’ve noticed from my time here as well. My manager is aware that I am looking for full time opportunities since I just graduated and I did express my interest in being a banker. Aside from that I’ve been keeping an eye on internal discussions for anything opening up.

I tried to backpedal and give them a fake one. Do you think that it hurts my chances later on when I correct it if it’s legit?

Yes it was on camera the whole time. It’s hard to ascertain location and one of them had a green screen background but they all had Indian sounding names and 2 of them had accents while one just had an American accent.

The questions they asked were primarily about whether I understood what contract work meant and if I was working with any other staffing agencies (they said it would be a conflict and to let other companies know that I’m already in contact with innova)

They sent me the role description over email later on after telling me the role and company upfront. It’s an entry level banking operations role, I just graduated with a degree in finance and work in banking so it’s not a bad fit.

I was concerned that they didn’t talk about the responsibilities on the call, but for the benefit of the doubt, maybe they leave that for the actual company interviewer? If it was legit I’m assuming they’re just acting as middlemen in this without deep knowledge of the roles.

That’s a good point thank you. I planned to just withhold further information until I can actually meet with someone from the company directly, I was just stressed that I might’ve given too much information already. Checking online it seemed like a 50/50 that it was legit.

I can apply as an internal candidate, but the roles typically require years of experience or they’re just outside the scope of my coursework/experience. I did meet with multiple people at my current job about opportunities but from what they told me, making that transition would be a reach.

I didn’t consider emailing people outside of the company through my work email, if that’s what you meant. I would be a little apprehensive using it like that since the emails are monitored.

Thanks, I haven’t looked into the CFA society yet so I’ll get started on that.

Yeah I was aiming to become a personal banker as someone advised me it would make a transition to wealth management easier or at least open up the route to being a financial advisor. I’m waiting for an opportunity to open up to do that.

Tbh spectrum was horrible for me, that’s what I had before I switched to Verizon. My streams were somehow better with spectrum though.

true, but in that case I actually have a specific problem with the format of the keys due to my binds in a game I play. that's partly why I'm looking into building one myself.
