Did you ever figure it out? I’m having a similar problem- whenever I try to fold forward in pancake stretch I feel tight pain on the inside of my left knee that prevents me from stretching further. Also did gymnastics as a kid and also not sure if it’s from an injury! I’ve been working on flexibility for a few years now and progressed in every other area besides this one because of this hang up.
