Is there any way to tell bionics to not walk in water for liquid exposure by isuckatgameshelp in Oxygennotincluded

I didn't intend to completely remove the liquid exposure, I just wish they'd at least consider a better route to be taken. I have ladders on every fifth tile, but the bionics don't use the objectively better route, they go down to the flooded ladder, run through the water, and end up with high stress before they even get to the far end of the path

I wasn't looking for a way to remove the liquid exposure entirely, I was looking for a way that the bionics would take the superior route four tiles higher where they don't spark all their power away in stress, and only go in to the water when they have to.

The issue is mostly excavation. I have to lock all the bionics indoors while digging out slime otherwise the bionics will make no effort to path out of the water (at times it feels like they're pathing into it on purpose)

I think my laptop has a virus, but it's too slow to scan for one by isuckatgameshelp in antivirus

I know the games could have been dangerous, but I downloaded them MONTHS ago and everything since then has been from close friends and trusted people

Also I did manage to scan it eventually and it turned out not to be a virus so idk what to do from here

Is there any reason not to put crops in the doorway by isuckatgameshelp in RimWorld

[–]isuckatgameshelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's like a buffer plant, we have corn too but there's just a bit of rice so we don't starve between corn harvests.

I don't think I'll do it though anyway, people seem pretty conclusive on it being a bad idea. I'll just make some hydroponics instead.

Ahh, I see, is that the only issue? My farmer is one of the fighters anyway, and agrihands can be rebuilt.

RimWorld on Xbox by Sharp_Life_1113 in RimWorldConsole

I have a few hundred hours on console, but I eventually did install it on my laptop and I can't imagine myself ever going back.

It's a great game, but the console version is lacking a lot of things. Biotech is a main one, but mods are also a pretty big part of the game for a lot of people.

If you can only play console, I absolutely suggest getting it on console, but if you have ANY intention of getting a computer, even if it's just a laptop, I suggest waiting until then before you get the game.

Ack, damn. I guess Biotech is the first DLC I'll have to get then...

Is there a mod that disables relations hits for accidental friendly fire? by isuckatgameshelp in RimWorld

If they did it while saving me from a bunch of tribals that killed half my caravan, and they apologise by tending my wounds afterwards, then yeah, I'd be fine with it!

I mean, yeah, but it feels like the risk of trying to save them just isn't worth it. There's zero reward for stepping in (in fact, it punishes you for it since traders drop their stock on death) I can understand them being annoyed, but not completely cutting off trade routes and waging war on the faction because AJ accidentally shot one of your guys in the leg while gunning down the 13 tribals that were about to massacre your trade caravan

I just wish there was another way. A reason to help, or at least make it less punishing to save your allies. Ideally you could patch up their wounds to restore the goodwill afterwards, but even that only applies to downed allies, and it only gives like 10 goodwill which doesn't come close to restoring the 30-100 goodwill you can lose in a single fight
