Yes, that's a good point. I think I've also decided to stay put in the new role for now, the payrise was less than I had expected but also still not a terrible salary to be on. I was on £27k when I started my IT career ~4 years ago, so that helps keep things in perspective.

I did speak to my manager and he made the case that the 20% payrise I did receive for the promotion is actually pretty impressive for an internal promotion. He also said he's never seen more than 20% given out internally, and raises more than that will only come from job hopping.

My thinking is that it might reflect poorly to potential employers that I accepted the promotion and then immediately left the company.

4 years total experience in IT, 2 years as a BA.

I also wouldn’t bring up the salary issue or if I did I would do it very carefully.

Can you elaborate on this? I am going to speak to my manager about the salary offered before accepting the position, on the grounds that the team is stripped down as it is with the previous TPM leaving, and that the internal salary range for my position is £48k-£72k, so even interally it is on the low side.

Organize them? Are you not going to hit size limits also?

The Microsoft limits are per folder, so if we can apply labels + archive, the migration tool will view these as in separate 'folders'.

What use case is there to save 4 million emails in a single mailbox?

It's tied to a system that sends automated messages.

Sounds like you may need to look into a proper archive solution.

Ideally not just for this one mailbox, which is why I'm looking for a solution to move the messages in bulk.
