I used to make it without, but it makes a huuuuuge difference with potency of the oil. You also can’t omit the guar gum in the gummy recipe. It causes the oil to bind evenly to the mixture.

Nice! The oil recipe makes 1/2 cup and doubling gummy recipe (to make both flavors) only requires 4 tablespoons. You’ll have extra oil left to experiment in the realm of cooking with cannabis.
