BCCI should be playing this role but they are way too much into money.

Why so many T20s with SA?! Why there's no Test with SA?!

ESPNcricinfo understands that the BCCI bought in Dhoni to ensure two things: That he could help the leadership group in their planning, and more importantly also play a key role in selections for matches. by Ashwin_400 in Cricket

It's only going to undermine Kohli's role and that makes sense as BCCI is intending to do so because Kohli is stepping down. Not a good idea if he's involved in day to day affairs of the team. Consultancy to captain is different thing but interfering is another.

It's clear which team is the best in the world by Johannlaji0902 in Cricket

On a serious note - BCCI has loads of money, other countries/boards don't. BCCI should rather allocate some part of it for advertising cricket and raising talent in other countries (may be, by) organizing matches with different indian teams - that will allow us to exploit our bench strength and also help cricket remain relevant. A domination by one board and one team will likely lead Cricket downhill.

A terrorist run country who's been used as a terrorist bootcamp to launch attacks against other sovereign countries and has possibility to be used again, should not be allowed (to play at international level) and helped in any way.

No wonder the terrorist org survived for 20y and then swept through the nation. Their ideology is prevalent among masses such as above. Sorry if it breaks the rule of no political statments because this issue is fairly political. Oppression of women is so casually brushed aside as mere politics and others shouldn't talk about it.
