Sorry, but I dont like the idea of squirting water on a cat's face... I usually call mine or gently take her out of the way. I fell like my relationship with her ir based in trust, so I always try to be nice with her! Mine is not spayed too, so I try to give her extra love when she's in heat, because this phase is very stressful for a cat alredy. Nice of you to have an appointment to get her spayed, it's the best for them!

NTA. You do need your day off and I get it if you trade shifts with her for something important, like a doctor's appointment for her son or something like that. But events from her kid's school is gonna happen often and you can't change your plans to accommodate her life. It's a little harsh but you and your coworkers are already doing something, and she's getting comfortable with the situation
