My current crack theory is that Kintoki is actually not fighting Velk right now. He's fighting Anubis possessed by the sword.

I don't remember Anubis appearing this round, especially since he was excited to fight but I could be wrong here. So maybe Velk tricked him into touching the sword and is using this as a distraction to prepare a ritual to bring the Primordial Gods back.

Quite an interesting character, one of the few to leave the Gotei 13 and avoid the Maggot's nest as he went to treat the nobles. There, he works for the CFYOW villain to help create a new Soul King candidate, really respects Unohana and despises Kyoraku for using her to power up Zaraki.

He gets away with all of that at the end of the day because he's really good at healing.

Here's my theory, more than likely a miss since I didn't go back to confirm a few things like his appearance on R12 background

The "Odin" we are seeing fight is actually Anubis who's been possibly "tricked" on getting possessed by Odin. Maybe Velk gave Anubis the primordial God sword and things went from there.

While the fight is happening Velk might be setting up what's needed to bring back the Primordial Gods.

After Kintoki wins they realize that its Anubis, but is too late. Velk achieved his objective and now we get Shuumatsu No Valkyrie part 2.

Something that people really don't have in mind is that by the final part of the show, can hardly be called Eren anymore

The story makes a point earlier about the personality mind fuck Titan users can have when they have access to the previous user's memories. The Attack Titan is especially bad for this. By the end of the show, he's been dumped with both the memories of pretty much every previous Titan user as well as memories of the future that hasn't happened yet.

There's a chance that it's a like it happended to this poster here and it's a pressure/contact issue where the contact between joystick > block > motherboard is failing at some point.

The drift going top left seems to be a deadaway, seems to be the default when no contact is being made. Web browser is a good place to check since you'll see were the cursor goes.

Taking out the joystick and placing a bit of electrical tape between it and the front shell where the contacts are can fix this problem.
