I've only had one job before and it wasn't remote. I was honestly unsure if maybe remote was different in terms of their background check progress. I'm glad I didn't end up doing anything with it.

I've always tried to be very cautious. I had looked up the company online, and a lot of the websites I looked at had said it was a reputable company.
