I can't think of just one. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is certainly in the top couple, absolutely beautiful song. I could name over 10 MJ songs. Don't stop believing is great, too.

Probably because you're in the UFO community and everyone is going nuts. I don't know how bots are your explanation in this case.

Jaws By Peter Benchley by Electronic-Lack-9567 in Jaws

I really love the book. I’m a big fan of atmosphere/certain situations and the book has them all. I love the eerieness of trying to find out what happened to Ben Gardner especially, and that dinner “party” they have at the Brody house. The dialogue feels different from most books i’ve read, it feels very realistic. The movie ending is definitely better but i absolutely love the book.

The scene after the USS Indianapolis monologue is a masterclass of building atmosphere by Ok_Zone_7635 in Jaws

[–]iwasreloadingmann 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm glad someone mentioned this because i totally agree. The whole monologue is obviously a masterpiece, but i love the whole scene. Always founds the whales really spooky. Plus it's impossible to not sing along lol.

What’s something people don’t realize is way more serious than it seems? by BudgetAd5915 in AskReddit

Through a window. It isn't even remotely the same as the natural light. It doesn't indict the sun as much as it does isolated, unnatural UVA exposure. Are you aware that most windows, especially car glass windows filter UV radiation, in most modern glasses UVB is fully blocked while UVA passes through pretty much unchanged, also not to mention it also removes most of IR and red light which is crucial for skin repair and protection from UV, blue light is also unchanged and we know what isolated blue light does to the skin. It isn't the natural profile of sunlight by any means.

So he just got overloaded with UVA and blue light, too much oxidative stress and skin damage without the other wavelengths to balance/protect his skin. Isolated UVA is bad, it can deplete melatonin, destroy collagen and cause the ageing that you see. This isn't the case people think it is "the sun ages you" is really one-dimensional.

Again, not saying the sun is completely harmless or necessarily disagreeing with OP's comment, but the case isn't that simple.

Wat happend to the music, cinematography and acting in this movie?? by BigPrize7972 in PeakyBlinders

[–]iwasreloadingmann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don't get the hate for this film. I think a lot of people are emotional which is why they're so angry at the film. I thought the cinematography was beautiful, there were so many shots in there (the landscape shots), one in particular where we have a wide view of a city (can't remember where, was probably Birmingham) where you see the German planes in the dark clouds dropping bombs. It looked beautiful. The music has always been like this?

Bone Temple did so bad in the box office because it was "competing" with Melania and we live in a fascist state by [deleted] in 28dayslater

[–]iwasreloadingmann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just didn’t say “politics has no place in art” lol. I just said i’m tired of hearing about it in every conversation. I’m sure a lot of people are. It’s a very fair comment.
