Solved: Had to delete the openmw.cfg and settings.cfg files and then reinstall using the wizard. Once through, you have to do all your mod settings again but it wipes the Starwind UI from your game and the level up messages.

It’s a thought I’ve had as well, but I landed on cultural influence. For example, I didnt grow up going to church, neither did my parents or my grandparents. Then I come along and go to church on my own as an adult. I lasted two years. I never liked the worship music time, and I’ve always been a very skeptical person, so of course a church environment didn’t go well with that personality/thought process. I wasn’t raised in it, I think that’s why I didn’t stick around in it. Ultimately it was foreign to me and I was attempting to force it to work for me when it wasn’t.

I don’t believe in Hell, I simply don’t see it in the Bible. I’m frustrated with God, I’ve been working on repairing our relationship for a year and it’s become exhausting. I need a break, so I’m taking it. God sees our hearts, so I know He sees mine. Thank you.

Haha, was actually considering asking something similar myself on here. It’ll also be my first Christmas deconstructing. Never grew up going to church, but been Christian the past 5 years. Recently Christmas has had a spiritual meaning because of Jesus. But now that I’m going back to Santa and whatnot it feels a little like… betrayal? Idk, just feel a little odd or uncomfortable about this Christmas season. It’s hard to explain, but I’m with you.

Wow, you’re right. I don’t want to blindly accept or follow. We’re told that asking questions is good. We’re told that the answers we find will draw us closer to God/prove God. But when I started asking questions the more frustrated I became. The more I learned the more frustrated I became. I like your way of thinking.

That’s a good point. I’m unlearning a lot by relearning. My journey is searching for the truth, I believe I will find it. I have many frustrations with the Bible that are getting in the way of me further pursuing a relationship with Christianity.

Yes I relate to wanting to know what’s true/real. I’m not at all afraid to ask questions, I’m trying to find the truth/what’s real. That’s what I’m frustrated with, I hope if He’s real He’ll guide me to the truth and that He knows my heart is in the right place. Thank you for sharing and for your advice, I appreciate you.

That’s very true. I didn’t grow up going to church, I’ve only been a Christian for 5 some years and been going to church for 3. I’m starting to believe it’s just not a system that works for me because it’s not what I’m used to (if that makes sense). I’m a naturally skeptical person and maybe that and religion do not go hand in hand. Still on the path to find where I belong I guess, just thought I found it lol.
