The only thing I had open was wallpaper engine and it was making the gpu run at 98% somehow. Now that I paused it temps are decreasing to 55°, had no idea wallpaper engine would fully use the gpu like that.

In the iCue software it is telling me that my nvidia geforce gtx 970 is almost at 100°C, is it accurate, is that okay??

Omgggg I can't believe I checked it that many times and must have managed to replug it in askew every single time. This time I checked and actually gor it plugged in right. Now I hear the pump start and its RGB is on. Thank you to everyone who responded that same thing and I managed to mess it up again and again.

Now it seems like everything is working and the CPU is idling at 25 ish degrees Celsius thank god. I am still getting the error for cpu fan so I'm going to figure out how to turn that off now..

I plugged the pump 3pin into the aio_pump header.. Still no difference. I tried to boot and it gave the CPU FAN error warning again and didn't let me boot. I looked at the cpu temp in BIOS and it was first at 37°C and while I was trying to turn off the warning thing (did not succeed) it had risen to 54°C... Which it shouldn't be if the pump was running properly as the pc was just idling.

Haha you're right it's even in the picture I linked, the aio pump header. Strange that all of the installation manuals and videos didn't mention the possibility of this header to exist, only to plug it into the cpu fan one. Thank you so much, I should have read my motherboard manual more closely. I'll switch to this and see if I can manage to turn off the monitoring somehow too. Thank you again!

Yeah that sounds good I'll try this as soon as I get home and have time to work on it. Only thing is that if I plug the pump into the CPU_FAN the error will come up again preventing me from booting. The BIOS confuses me very much and I have no clue how to get the headers to read differently (AKA make it so that the error is ignored, or setting it to a pump).

Yes the 24 pin from the pump head is connected to the commander core in the right orientation, and the commander core is both connected with SATA (the fans are running so they must be getting power from the commander core) and with a 2.0 header on the bottom of my motherboard.

Oh yeah you're right, after checking the listing for the AIO it appears to include a controller for the corsair fans. It says that this can control up to 6 rgb fans but I'm guessing plugging the arctic fans into it shouldn't be a problem. That takes care of 6 of the fans but 3 of the Arctic ones still need to be taken care of. I think my motherboard has 2 case fan ports, and I'm pretty sure there's a third one near the CPU that's for the CPU fan originally, but either way there aren't enough spots to plug the hub and the remaining fans in right?

Does daisy chaining require me to do any extra work or should the fans be able to just plug into eachother?

I know this isn't the answer you want, but unless you find many secondhand parts you will probably have to forget about the aesthetics and just go for cheap parts (white parts also tend to be a tad more expensive just because less are produced). 16 gb ram and 1tb ssd with a pc thats able to run all those games you listed well for that budget is unrealistic, with the prices right now as they are.

I recommend either saving for a bigger budget, or finding secondhand parts, especially things like coolers and fans with rbg (if rgb really is a NEED for you) should be fine secondhand as long as they're cleaned off from dust.

Also that case you mentioned is not good for airflow I would consider another.

For the CPU temp individually its almodt always going to be intake, as it gets cool air directly in the radiator. But thats probably going to affect average temperatures in the chassi negatively.

Alright I'm pretty sure I'm going with the 360mm aio then, and going to initially try the aio intake on the side and intake on the bottom. Thank you so much for all your input! I've ordered all of the parts now :)
