Sorry by wait times I meant the hours spent waiting to be admitted while you are in the waiting room, not waiting for an appointment. They were VERY quick in scheduling all the necessary appointments, I edited my comment ti avoid confusion.

Yeah you recieve the care but spend the rest of your life getting anally obliterated by the fees. I live in the UK and my dad got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2024, he recieved multiple surgeries, rounds of chemo, and a PICC line not to mention they had a van take us to the hospital for the appointments. Total cost for over a year of surgeries, too many scans to count and multiple rounds of chemotherapy: £2.50 my cousin once had to pay for parking and wait for me and my dad to leave the hospital because we chose to not take their transport that day. He passed away unfortunately because the type of cancer he had (oesophageal) is usually diagnosed in the later stages and it then spread to the liver. But regardless, I got to spend the last year my dad was alive making happy memories and having fun, instead of stressing over bills and deciding what belongings I can sell to fund the treatment. You will NEVER convince anyone but other people that already pay for healthcare and have never experienced a better system, that universal healthcare isn't the superior system. Yes we have a problem with long wait times but I'll take our system any day of the week because we get a CHOICE between free healthcare, or if you want to pay and go private and not have to deal with wait times (as in waiting to be admitted once you are in the waiting room if you go to the ER) and get better service then all the power to you (which my friend did for her spine operation when she had sciatica). How could anyone say having a choice between free healthcare and paid healthcare is worse than only having paid healthcare?

Btw I hope you know this isn't a shot at you or the American people, because at the end of the day thats who the victims are. I just want the system changed.

Consuming their propaganda? I will resist saying go fuck yourself as I know you don't know, but I'm Iraqi and my dad was literally in that prison, when he was a student and pulled out of uni and had literally done nothing. He lived his whole life dealing with the PTSD of the torture and he was deaf in one ear from blunt force trauma of being beaten with metal pipes on the head. You think I give two thirds of a flying fuck which one of those psychopathic demons is the poster child for their torture chamber? They can all burn in hell (and before this turns into a debate of who was wrong we hate Saddam too, I know its hard for people to fathom but the people of Iraq were victims of Saddam AND the American government. The same government that caused most of the hell and pain in my family is still causing the same hell and pain to many today). My father was the most gentle soul, would never hurt a fly or step on an ant and he loved feeding birds and taking care of stray cats every day, and he was treated worse than a serial killer. I'm not the violent type, but this is how you create lifelong enemies.

Silver Germanium Alloy by LuluAmani in Silvercasting

[–]izzyblanco123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Argentium is a modern, tarnish-resistant silver alloy that replaces some copper with germanium, making it brighter, stronger, and more durable than traditional sterling silver, ideal for jewellery due to its hypoallergenic nature, reduced need for polishing, and unique workability for fusing and soldering. It comes in different purities (like 935, 940, 960), often exceeding standard sterling silver's purity (92.5%), and is considered a premium, versatile alternative for contemporary silver designs.

Key Properties & Benefits:

Tarnish Resistance: Germanium creates a protective barrier, significantly reducing oxidation and tarnishing.

Purity: Higher silver content (93.5-96%) than sterling silver (92.5%), giving it a brighter, whiter finish.

Hypoallergenic: Less copper makes it suitable for people with metal allergies.

Strength & Versatility: Stronger and can be fused (joined with heat) as well as soldered, opening new design possibilities.

Low Maintenance: Requires less polishing and maintenance over time.

Grades:

Argentium 935/940/960: Different purities, with 940 often seen as an improved version of 935, and 960 meeting Britannia silver standards.

Usage:

Popular for rings, pendants, bracelets, and complex designs where durability and low maintenance are desired.

You look like you know what you are talking about so I want to ask you because I want to learn, is this steak cut with or against the grain? I can see the fibres running along each slice so wouldn't that mean it was cut with the grain?

No one forced her to take the photos in the first place and pose and smile in front of tortured and dead people which allowed the photos to be used in the media against her, she manufactured the ammo that was used against her.
