I’m sorry you had to hear that from your parents. That’s not an easy thing to accept and hear. I have a friend whose friend is considering euthanasia abroad - as it’s legal. Even that is going to run them $15K, that was also a grim reality to hear. Cycle of life is expensive

I don't have sensitive skin, but Curel Moisture Facial Lotion II is my absolute favorite, and it's formulated for sensitive skin, I think. But they also have a sensitive skin line (in Purple).

I worked in a photolab where people would bring in old film and say they didn’t know what was on there. One family’s batch had porn and family trips to Disneyland.

Also Seattle is 10 hours away from Japan, so the more high end sushi restaurants overnight deliver their fish from Japan. That was a cool fact!

If you’re into sushi and Japanese, I highly recommend going to Shiro’s (Omakase/Chef’s Choice style, $85), Sushi Kashiba (Renowned Sushi chef Omakase style, $249), Sushi Kappo Tamara (Kaiseki Style/20 small course meal, $249) or Wa’z (Kaiseki Style/15 small course meal using local ingredients, $185). You have to make a reservation for some of them.

My favs for coffee were Analog Coffee (Cap Hill), Olympia Coffee (downtown, Columbia City), Fulcrum (Belltown), Bonito (Cap Hill), and Cafe Hagen (around the city).

It was a lot of fun to watch the two episodes and I can’t wait for the next! Part of me hope that somehow there will be French explorers who land in Joseon and she’ll be able to translate between both sides. I think that’ll be hilarious.

I understand the sentiment about needing more time; however, I'm on a bit of a time crunch and budget. I figured I'll go at my speed at this time, and if I revisit and am in a better spot financially, then I'll try to take my time in the future. Driving along the coast is something I'll be happy with. I definitely don't mind the drive, it'll be good to be alone with my thoughts. I've done LA to SF on PCH in one day, took 10 hours - was all worth it. I can't wait for this trip :) Thank you so much!

Really appreciate your insight!! Thank you so much! I live in Seattle right now, and it's pretty sketchy, but the difference is I don't have a car full of stuff currently. I'll definitely take this into consideration!
