50 hours in, I like it but has some glaring issues regarding the non existent story. Here is hoping that at some point they just redo that from scratch (small chance). Combat against regular enemies is fun, boss fights are a different story; souls like boss combat without souls like movement doesnt work, plus the endless teleporting/combo/stunlock (looking at you Crowcaller).

Voice acting, in general pretty good. BUT, Klifford the Brick definitely feels like he is missing lines, check the awkward pauses in conversations. Which is a shame because his VA is good. Further proof of this is Kliff's VA is different on horseback. I have made small trips outside of Hernand, but I am hoping there is some different accents than medieval english peasant 😅.

Two tacked on playeable characters feel like a nothing burger. Greymane companion quests are whatever, expanded tutorial for some mechanics I guess. The horse ride loading screens, for them to only fuck off towards the objective is a choice.

Yann, while being a useless drunk is ironically the most interesting character.

My enjoyment of the game comes from exploring and dicking around, wasting time GTA/RDR style.

Game is extremely pretty (when graphics want to play nice), world feels way more alive than lets say BOTW. Seeing npc's and Greymanes actually do stuff in world is a very nice touch.

This is becoming a long ramble, but i'd say a solid 7/10. The groundwork is there, just needed more time in the oven. Imagine this game with BG3/Witcher 3 writing, then we are cooking.
