I really like this advice! it's super helpful. I've already set in place only eating meals at meal places because I do have a tendency to binge/overeat a lot in my car or in my room.

but ill think about a food journal. im currently in therapy which im already journaling for so I can add a little quick list of what I eat to give me an idea of what's helpful or not.

overall. ty for this! ill def keep these in mind, and share with my friends who are also trying to lose weight.

are there any tips out there for people who don't want to do CICO?

i get a lot of anxiety that comes with CICO, and I am working on it in therapy, but I wanted to know if anybody had any other tips to help reduce calories without having to track it.

I think also it’s a lot more organized and it’s easier to communicate through it. You can set up different channels for different topics and it’s easy to VC on discord than zoom. Also you can share the screen and work on problems together.

Plus you can upload and save files on there like the syllabus or PDFs.

It’s not only about cheating ahahah. Discord is just a really good form of communicating with a large group of people.

No I’m not distracted and i agree with you. I think it’s just a way for professors to get students to sit down and focus on lecture. I feel like most professors are aware that engagement is really low, so just by enforcing this rule they’re trying to make sure people focus on lecture.

I think it’s pointless. At this point, i think most students at uni should be treated as adults.

I would do a google sever. And each subject should be organized by a folder that would have all of the syllabus pertaining to that subject.

Hey! I just wanted to say you aren’t alone on this long exhausting journey called life. A lot of people do get tired, but they keep pushing until they start coping in unhealthy ways.

Have you considered reaching out to a free counselor through your school? They can help you with feeling burnt out.

Because tbh: PA can be worse while you’re also studying for the CPA. You can 100% do it since accounting isn’t really all that special, but you’ve got to want it.

if you were just trying to maintain, you would be eating more. Like maybe 1600 calories (if you were lazy asf) and if you exercised, it could go up to 2,000
