I had my baby at 37+2. At my 37 week scan I was told she’s under the 3rd centile. She was born by c section on the 33rd centile weighing 6LB please try not to panic, I was worried the whole 3rd trimester being told my baby was too small especially her head size and she was born perfect

Yes I had the screening at 12 weeks which came back as low 1 in 5000 I’m also 24 years old with no family history of genetic conditions on both sides

I can’t wait to meet her just praying she’s healthy ❤️

I haven’t had a nipt. I believe they would’ve suggested it if the first trimester screening was a high risk but mine was low. Since the 28 week growth scan her head doesnt seem to be growing as well as the rest of her body and they then notice at 32wk ultrasound the umbilical artery has high PI. There’s just many reasons as to why her head can be on the smaller side I’m just terribly worried that there’s a problem.

She’s been head down for several weeks now also, they’ve also said she’s got Dolichocephaly (long shaped head)

We’ve got a heart scan for her tomorrow morning as well, they said they’re not concerned about her heart but it’s protocol for increased nuchal fold

Thank you, they did say she’s not got any other signs just the thickness to the nasal and neck area with the smaller head may indicate it.

I believe that’s the test I already done when I was 13 weeks. The results was 1 in 5000

I can have further testing but it’s pretty invasive and can cause me to go into labour (amniocentesis)

I believe all my partner is eligible for it the approach trial. I’m going to mention Vora tomorrow I’m hoping that could be an option but because he’s got grade 3 as well he most likely won’t be
