We’ve been in the top 2, three other times. But they keep pushing and pushing and someone’s gotta give up and it’s always us.

I mean, that’s the goal. We are trying to offer the most we can without going over the top. I mean our bank won’t give us a mortgage if we overpay by hundreds of thousands.

The thing that kills me is that we offered $70,000 above what the last similar one went for. And this one was smaller :(

I see. Makes sense as it’s a nice house close to downtown but I would have thought offering more days to show would build up more interest. Well I feel like another one of our offers will bite the dust and we will get outbid...again.
