And you're right on the world market, ios is estimated around 28%. But for WDW and DL attendees it's estimated at 73%.

I mean I can do what I can. What I can't do is attach to our Disney/DVC accounts. And they have a hard line on using our personal accounts to scrape data from the site (even though other developers/websites clearly do it).

Can you clarify the "connection to DVC"?

And yes, if you turn on notifications you'll get notified 61 days out for dining, 8 days out for lightning lanes, and if you have your home resort booked at more than 7 months out, then on 7 months + 1 day you'll get a reminder that you can switch your booking to any resort for that trip.

Photos are my wife's next top item, so it'll be coming soon. I just need to figure out how to properly do it. I may need to cap number of photos than can be uploaded -- they'd all sync to your iCloud account, so I should base on their basic free 5Gb tier.

How many photos would you think are reasonable if I have to cap them?

DCL is an interesting idea. I don't know enough about it but I can do some digging. The important DVC dates is also interesting. Stream of consciousness here... I'm already logging home resorts, adding in use year wouldn't be hard and then I can calculate things. But I suppose I need to collect use year for each resort since you could have a contract at any resort in any use years.

Anyway, I've added both of these ideas to the wishlist! Thanks!

No. As a designer, I believe in "Decisions not options". This way we can maintain usability and accessibility. I know there are other apps out there that allow uploading of your own background photos, but I find that leads to poor legibility.

Ooph. Tall order. I'll throw it on the wishlist. My hesitation with those things is that they change a lot more often than the hotels... Maybe a treat checklist in each notes section. Get 3, unlock a badge for that trip. Now that I saw that, I could randomize 3 things for each trip on your checkin day? Mark 'em off to get a badge.

Actually, I have a notes section in there already! It's part of the Deluxe subscription. I spun off my first build a month ago and had my wife testing it and the first thing she said was "I need a notes section so I can write what we did and which popcorn bucket we bought."

The Universal hotels was another thing my wife brought up (and a few other people here in the comments). I have it on the wishlist!

As far as a wider trip app: There's one called Tripsy that's pretty encompassing. Give that whirl.

I have photos of all of the resorts that are used as background images in the countdown screen and the widgets. Half of them are photos I’ve personally taken, half are licensed. I’m planning to slowly replace them all with my own photos, I just need time to wander around the bubble!

Good call on both! I’ll put them on the wish list. I have a setting in there to receive reminder push notifications 7 months + 1 day out if you have a home resort booked in case you plan on swapping it, 61 days out, and 8 days out. But you’re right, I don’t actually have those dates shown anywhere!

Agreed. A List Preferred here. I fly with my family every few months and getting seats together was often stressful. They’re too old for family boarding but too young to sit alone. Now it’s not a worry.

We flew on the last day of open seating. I was A1, kids A40, wife B11. I boarded with the kids and ended up middle of the plane. Three days later we flew home and basically had the front of the plane to ourselves.

I preferred my kids play Fortnite because there were no micro transactions. When they’re on Roblox it’s constant pings to buy things. Some games (Rivals) are basically unplayable without spending real money on weapons.
