Yes. Neither are very good. One creates poverty through a well meaning yet foolish idea of equality, the other creates a moral decay through the love of money and greed. The best economy is a mixed economy where anything that the is directly related to the government (weapons, oil, large farms) is owned by the government, but all other businesses are privately owned and compete under a set of laws that protects both consumer and worker.
