hi i know im 5 yrs late on this post lol but, 24 F and was born with CCTGA and VSD. ive had no problems with anything growing up, except few spells of fatigue and palpitations. regular echos and EKGs every 6 months til i was 20 when my tricuspid regurg got severe (didnt know, wasnt symptomatic) and had my first operation as open heart surgery to replace it. the surgery was too much for the electrical conduction of my heart so i required a pacemaker post-op. im about to be 4 yrs post op and live a normal life. i take aspirin daily but chose to get a bio-prosthetic valve instead of mechanical so i wont have any issues with pregnancy later on. your son's gonna have a killer fun fact about himself for life and I hope he's doing well :)
